A delicate vervet monkey—one of dozens imprisoned in a military-run laboratory—is repeatedly snatched from a cramped cage and injected with a drug overdose that causes him to suffer from violent seizures and vomiting for a crude nerve-agent training exercise for Army personnel. This torment is funded by U.S. taxpayers.

A few short weeks ago, we revealed shocking new video footage of the mistreatment of animals by notorious animal testing company Shin Nippon Biomedical Laboratories (SNBL)—footage that painfully demonstrates just how much our commitment to shut down animal tests is needed.

After a distraught whistleblower saw that concerns about the mistreatment of animals at SNBL were being ignored, she reached out to PETA to help expose some of the horrible abuses she'd witnessed. She documented that monkeys were hooked to metal tethers that continuously dripped chemicals and ice-cold fluid into their veins, sometimes for months at a time. She shared how monkeys were confined to restraining chairs while being injected intravenously for many hours straight and that some workers at the facility had such violent disregard for animals' well-being that it was not uncommon for monkeys to have bloodied noses, broken fingers and toes, and bent or deformed tails.

For many, SNBL is most notorious as the company that boiled a monkey to death in 2008 when her cage was put into a high-temperature cage-washing machine while she was still in it. Federal inspectors have found hundreds of violations of the federal Animal Welfare Act during past reviews of SNBL and fined the company more than $40,000 in recent years.

Victory: University of Michigan Drops Cruel Cat Lab

I have very exciting news to share about one of our campaigns to end university animal experimentation.

After more than a year of pressure from PETA and over 100,000 people—including students, alumni, and Michigan natives Iggy Pop and Lily Tomlin—wrote letters and led protests, the University of Michigan (U-M) has announced that it has replaced the use of cats in its Survival Flight training course for nurses with modern and superior human simulators. This means that cats will no longer have hard plastic tubes repeatedly forced down their delicate windpipes before being killed.

U-M's announcement comes just one day after PETA released an exposé on how the school was buying lost, stolen, and homeless cats from a notorious animal dealer and revealed that school officials had lied to the public about the fate of the cats used in the course.

PETA will continue to urge U-M to end its trauma training laboratory that uses pigs and fully align its training curriculum with the guidance of medical experts and professional organizations that endorse the use of simulators as complete replacements for these cruel and archaic animal laboratories.

In the meantime, please take a moment of your time to urge St. Louis Children's Hospital to follow in the footsteps of U-M and end the hospital's use of animals for intubation training as well.

Help Cats and Ferrets Used in Cruel Training at St. Louis Hospital


St. Louis Children's Hospital, in conjunction with Washington University in St. Louis, continues to torment cats and ferrets for painful intubation training exercises in their Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and pediatric residency programs. During the exercises, plastic tubes are repeatedly forced down the cats' windpipes. This procedure can cause bleeding, swelling, pain, scarring, collapsed lungs, and even death.

The PALS course's sponsor, the American Heart Association, states that it "does not require or endorse the use of animals in PALS courses" and that "the AHA recommends that any hands-on intubation training for the AHA PALS course be performed on lifelike human manikins." PETA has surveyed hundreds of PALS facilities across the country, and nearly every one of them—including St. Louis University, Cardinal Glennon Children's Medical Center, and St. Louis Community College—uses non-animal methods for intubation training. Similarly, more than 90 percent of pediatric residency programs in the U.S. use only non-animal methods for intubation training.

Research shows that in addition to protecting animals, simulators better prepare medical professionals to treat seriously ill or injured children because they more accurately replicate human anatomy and allow people to practice these skills repeatedly.

Please contact officials at St. Louis Children's Hospital and Washington University in St. Louis and urge them to replace the use of animals for intubation training with some of the many effective, non-animal training methods that are available.

University Lab Kills Cats, Lies About It ..

He was a pretty, healthy, brown tabby cat when his guardians took him to a Michigan animal shelter in the hope of finding him a new home. But a heartless shelter director, a shady animal dealer, and a university hell-bent on abusing animals in crude and painful medical training exercises took away his chance at a happy ending.

Knowing full well that he would end up in a lab, the staff at Gratiot County Animal Shelter turned the cat over to notorious Class B animal dealer R&R Research, which in turn sold him to the University of Michigan (U-M). There, he was given the ID number 8269 and tormented in Survival Flight training labs for nurses by having hard plastic tubes repeatedly shoved down his delicate windpipe. A few days later, when U-M was done abusing 8269, they killed him. Another cat who was subjected to this cruel intubation laboratory, 8312, had been obtained from someone who gave her away "free to a good home." The cat was illegally acquired by R&R before being sold to U-M.

The stories of 8269 and the other cats killed by U-M were uncovered when PETA obtained records from Gratiot County and U-M. They reveal that U-M officials—including the director of the Survival Flight program—have shamelessly lied to the public by repeatedly stating in a newspaper opinion column, comments to the media, and official statements that the cats used in the archaic Survival Flight lab are always adopted out afterward.

While we were shocked to learn about U-M's illicit relationship with one of the most despicable animal dealers in the country and to discover that U-M has been blatantly lying about the fate of the cats, it really shouldn't have come as any surprise. U-M officials have been misleadingly claiming for a year that modern human-patient simulators can't replace the cat laboratories, even though these simulators are already used in the place of animals to teach intubation to doctors and nurses in other courses at U-M.

Not only do PETA folk get to help animals (of course), and get e-mails with subject lines like "Has anyone seen our giant bunny costume?"—they also get to share in the involvement of the super-cool rock legends (from Macca to Grace Slick to Chrissie Hynde) who throw their considerable weight behind our efforts to help animals.

Now the one-and-only Iggy Pop has joined PETA and students at Iggy's alma mater, the University of Michigan (U-M), in demanding that animals who are tormented and killed in a medical training course be replaced with the humane and educationally superior alternatives that are available. After learning that U-M abuses and kills cats and pigs in its Survival Flight course for nurses, Iggy fired off a letter on PETA's behalf, urging the university to drop these cruel and archaic animal labs and to switch to the sophisticated simulators that are already used to teach the same skills in other advanced U-M training courses.

Iggy writes, "It's common sense that cutting apart pigs and maiming cats isn't the best way to train people to treat humans. … U-M should not be harming animals when better alternatives are available and already in use on campus."

Lily Tomlin Urges UM to Spare Cats, Pigs ..

Lily Tomlin is always looking for signs of intelligent life, but she hasn't yet found it in the University of Michigan's (UM) survival flight course. The Detroit native recently wrote to UM to ask its officials to stop allowing cats and pigs to be abused in cruel and deadly flight training exercises and to replace the animals with advanced human patient simulators instead. Human patient simulators are used across the country to train flight nurses, and UM already uses simulators to teach the same skills in other courses.

In a letter to UM President Mary Sue Coleman, Tomlin writes, "Having trainees jam hard tubes down cats' throats, cut holes into pigs' throats and chests, and stab needles into the animals' bones and the tissue surrounding their hearts is simply unjustifiable when modern and superior alternatives are available."

Wonder why Lily is so upset? The Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine recently obtained this video of a deadly pig lab at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, one of the schools they are urging to modernize its curriculum and replace animal use.



Coleman also received a surprise visit recently from PETA members wearing cat and pig costumes to protest an awards ceremony at which she was being recognized. The animals don't get a break, so why should UM?




Join PETA, Lily Tomlin, Iggy Pop, UM's student government, and others in urging UM to stop killing cats and pigs in crude and cruel training laboratories.

After more than a year of campaigning by PETA and supporters—and a day after the release of a shocking PETA exposé—the University of Michigan (U-M) announced that it has ended the use of cats in its Survival Flight intubation training laboratory.

More than 100,000 people—including Michigan natives Iggy Pop and Lily Tomlin—called on U-M to replace crude and cruel live-animal laboratories with more humane and effective human simulators, which are already used for other U-M courses. The U-M student group Michigan Animal Rights Society led demonstrations in support of the effort, the student assembly passed a resolution urging the school to end the laboratories, and the student newspaper editorial board came out in favor of replacing animals with simulators. PETA supporters even jammed university circuit boards with phone calls to protest the Survival Flight animal laboratories.

U-M says that it still plans to harm and kill pigs to teach other skills in the Survival Flight training course, and PETA will continue to push the school to replace all animal use with simulators that are already available on campus.

U-M update on use of animals in Survival Flight training

A recent blog post by People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) accuses U-M of “lying” about the fate of cats used in courses to train nurses in our Survival Flight program.

In August, we corrected information on our Animal Research website about the disposition of cats used in Survival Flight training after discovering an unintentional error. We made this correction as soon as we discovered the error.

As the website states, the correct information is that from 2002 through July 2011, of the 23 cats used in training, seven were euthanized and the remaining 16 cats were adopted into new homes. (See: http://animal.research.umich.edu/teaching/sf-fact-sheet.html)

The cats were adopted out whenever possible, but medical conditions, behavioral problems or the inability to find a new home prevented some adoptions.

Our primary concern has been and continues to be providing the best training for our flight nurses so that they, in turn, will be fully ready to provide life-saving care to critically ill patients.

At the same time, U-M is committed to the principles known as the “3 Rs” – reducing the number of animals used to the minimum necessary, replacing the use of animals with other options whenever possible, and refinement of practices to ensure the most humane conditions possible.

Consistent with these principles, over the past several months, our ongoing discussions and evaluations have led to a policy change.

Starting in the summer, we developed a new program for intubation training which no longer requires us to rely on cats and which will use simulators instead. No cats have been used in training since July and we have no plans to use them in the future.

Surgical skills training will continue to use pigs because we have not found a simulator that we feel can adequately replicate the experience of performing certain procedures, like inserting a chest tube to inflate a patient’s collapsed lung.

This fall we also discontinued our use of Class B (random-source) cats and dogs except in a few focused areas where the age, genetic, or health diversity found in random-source animals is required for the scientific research.

Cat Delivers Smack-Down To Wolverines ..

PETA members and students delivered a surprise package to University of Michigan (UM) President Mary Sue Coleman's office on Friday. When demonstrators tried to walk into Coleman's office, her staff blocked the door, saying she was not in, but that didn't stop a PETA "cat" and his friends from delivering 100,000 petition signatures against the school's archaic and deadly use of cats and pigs in its Survival Flight training course.



UM continues to torture cats and pigs, despite the fact that modern human simulators are more effective and are already in use in other courses at UM to teach the same skills. In the Survival Flight course, cats have hard plastic tubes repeatedly forced down their delicate windpipes, and pigs have holes cut into their limbs, throats, and chests and have needles stabbed into their bones and hearts before they are killed. In an opinion piece published in the Detroit News, a trauma surgeon recently explained why the use of simulators is superior to tormenting animals.

Staff in University of Michigan President Mary Sue Coleman's office got a surprise visit from a small group of protesters this afternoon.

A member of People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals and two U-M students walked into the Fleming Building, 503 Thompson S., past a front desk and toward the U-M president's office before being blocked by a staff member, who shut the door and said Coleman wasn't in.

Instead, the group delivered its message and a box containing a 100,000-signature petition to Erika Hrabec, Coleman's assistant.

PETA is waging a months-long campaign against the use of pigs and cats in U-M’s survival flight training for nurses. PETA wants U-M to use human simulators, which it claims are more modern and effective, instead of animals.

Akshay Verma, a U-M student and a member of U-M's Michigan Animal Rights Society, called the use of animals "archaic" after the presentation.

"I came here because I don't believe in using animals for experiments," Verma said afterward.

Winter said the signatures were gathered online and in person. He did not know how many of the signatures were from Michigan residents.

The use of live tissue trains nurses to do procedures such as insert tubes down patients’ throats in difficult conditions. There is no substitute, the school says, for these and other lifesaving techniques taught in the course. The animals do not feel pain during the procedures because they are under anesthesia. Cats are adopted out, and pigs euthanized, after being used for training.

Michigan Students Rally Against Cruel Campus Labs

Yesterday, you read about the former PETA intern who successfully pressured the University of Florida dining halls to implement a Meatless Mondays program on campus.

Now, heading north to the University of Michigan, we have yet another superstar, who is leading the charge to end cruel and deadly training exercises on animals on campus.

As was reported on the front page of the student newspaper today, former PETA intern Joe Varilone successfully got a resolution passed through the U-M student government last night, calling on the school to replace the abuse of cats and pigs in a course for nurses with sophisticated and superior humanlike simulators that are already in use to teach the same skills in other courses on campus.

The animal abusers at the University are really in a tight spot now—they’ve been publicly condemned by their own school’s student government; The campus newspaper editors wrote a strong column encouraging the experimenters to join the 21st century; Medical experts are publicly speaking out against the animal labs; Heck, even former U-M student and rock legend Iggy Pop wrote a letter slamming the school for continuing to allow such hideous cruelty.

How much criticism and bad press can one university handle?

The ball’s in your court, U-M. Take your students’ well-informed advice, stop swimming against the tide, and end these cruel training exercises on animals once and for all.

University Slammed With Calls

You guys are so awesome, and here’s why: After peta2 asked everyone to urge officials at the University of Michigan (UM) to stop tormenting live cats and pigs in cruel and deadly survival flight training exercises (which are completely unnecessary considering that UM already uses superior non-animal simulators to teach the same skills in other classes), you all came through.

And how! So many people have been contacting the university that callers to the office of UM President Mary Sue Coleman are greeted with this message:

“Thank you for calling the president’s office at the University of Michigan. At this time, we are experiencing a large number of calls regarding animal research and are unable to answer your call at this time. If you are calling regarding animal research and wish to make your opinion known to President Coleman, please press 1. If you are calling about any other matter, please press 2.”

In fact, the situation caused such a stir that it landed a story on the front page of the UM student newspaper!

On behalf of the animals who are still suffering in laboratories, thank you. Keep up the great work—and keep those calls coming!

Research shows that in addition to protecting animals, simulators better prepare medical professionals to treat seriously ill or injured children because they more accurately replicate human anatomy and allow people to practice these skills repeatedly.

Please contact officials at St. Louis Children's Hospital and Washington University in St. Louis and urge them to replace the use of animals for intubation training with some of the many effective, non-animal training methods that are available.

The PALS course's sponsor, the American Heart Association, officially states that it "does not require or endorse the use of animals in PALS courses" and that "the AHA recommends that any hands-on intubation training for the AHA PALS course be performed on lifelike human manikins." Nearly every other PALS facility across the country--including St. Louis University, Cardinal Glennon Children's Medical Center, and St. Louis Community College--uses exclusively human simulators for this training. Similarly, more than 90 percent of pediatric residency programs in the U.S. use only non-animal methods for intubation training.

Following a year-long PETA campaign, the University of Michigan's (U-M) Survival Flight program has replaced the use of cats in cruel intubation training exercises with modern human-patient simulators.

Unfortunately, the program continues to have trainees cut holes into pigs' limbs, throats, and chests and stab needles into their bones and hearts for trauma training exercises. This still happens even though the school already uses state-of-the-art human-patient simulators to teach the same skills in other courses for nurses and physicians.

Studies by leading medical experts have repeatedly found that in addition to saving animals, the use of simulators is superior to the use of animal labs for preparing trainees to perform the lifesaving skills taught in U-M's Survival Flight course. The Air & Surface Transport Nurses Association, which is the professional organization representing flight nurses, endorses the use of simulators to teach these skills as well.

Please take a minute of your time to contact university officials and respectfully ask them to continue to modernize the Survival Flight curriculum and immediately replace the use of pigs with human-patient simulators that are already available at U-M.

The University has recently come under fire from a national animal rights organization for teaching methods that are far from progressive. People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals filed a complaint against the University of Michigan Health Services for using cats and pigs to help train prospective nurses in its Survival Flight course. Despite the existence of more humane options for training nursing students, the University is continuing to perform simulations with animals. Regardless of the legality of the use of animals, UMHS should still consider other, more humane methods of training. UMHS should use medical simulators as the preferred method of training.

PETA filed a complaint with the United States Department of Agriculture last week, urging it to investigate UHMS’s use of cats and pigs to practice intubation and other procedures. PETA alleges that the use of cats and pigs for training purposes in the Survival Flight course breaches the Animal Welfare Act of 1966, as reported by the Daily on Monday. UMHS defended the training method and stated that it had increased the use of human patient simulators and decreased the use of animals in its training courses. UMHS also said that the procedures were similar to ones performed by veterinarians when treating animals in the clinic and that most of the cats used were adopted afterward.

The legality of UHMS’s use of cats and pigs is still up for debate. But regardless of the USDA’s investigation, the University should reevaluate teaching methods that involve the use of animals. Though we want our doctors and nurses to be as well trained as possible, training should also be humane. Since other options exist, UMHS shouldn’t use pigs and cats as a default training method.

One technique that can likely replace the use of animals is the use of human patient simulators. A simulator has the advantage of being able to replicate the anatomy of a human body far more accurately than a cat or pig. These simulators allow students to get thorough and accurate training, while also approaching their education in a humane way. UMHS should use its human simulator, called the TraumaMan System, to help train nurses. And if the TraumaMan system isn’t appropriate for the purposes of the Survival Flight course, UMHS should invest in research to develop a better simulator.

This is not the first time that the University has been investigated for unethical uses of animals in courses. In 2009, PETA filed a complaint saying that a different UMHS course was using dogs to practice procedures to treat trauma injuries. That filing led to weeks of scandal and debate. These complaints and lawsuits shouldn’t be part of the culture at the University. They are costly, time consuming and cast a negative light on otherwise positive studies and training. But mostly, they are unnecessary because other options are available.

UMHS courses should continue their tradition of excellence. But the future of medical training doesn’t lie with the use of animals. Rather, it will be based in advanced human patient simulation technology. That is where UMHS should direct its resources.

Regarding the story "USDA Clears U of M Medical School's Use of Animals in Training" published Oct. 19, whether or not its legal, it defies science, ethics and common sense for the University of Michigan's Survival Flight program to continue using cats and pigs to train flight nurses like myself in emergency medical procedures when realistic simulation mannequins that accurately mimic human anatomy and physiology are readily available on campus and are endorsed by leading experts and medical organizations.

Flight nurses' own professional organization, the Air & Surface Transport Nurses Association, sponsors a three-day training course called the Transport Nurse Advanced Trauma Courses, which covers the skills taught in U of M's Survival Flight course. The ASTNA has recently stated that 29 of 30 TNATC courses offered this year have used simulators instead of animals.

In simulation laboratories, trainees can practice procedures until they get them right, are given immediate feedback about their performance and measures can be taken to faithfully recreate the high-pressure environment that flight nurses and other specialists are required to operate in.

On the other hand - and I say this as one of the original developers of the most prominent pediatric life support training course in the country - animals do not represent the correct anatomy that nurses will actually be practicing on, anesthetized animals do not respond to medical treatments the way live humans or human simulators do, and animal laboratories do not allow trainees to repeat procedures until they are proficient.


For U of M to say that effective training of flight nurses requires the use of animals is nonsense. There is no scientific, educational or ethical justification for such a practice.

University of Pittsburgh Slow to Stop Killing Pigs for Trauma Training

The University of Pittsburgh Medical Center said it would phase out using and killing pigs in its trauma training course. But more pigs were recently killed.

In October, the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) agreed to stop using pigs in its trauma training course following a complaint PCRM filed with the U.S. Department of Agriculture stating that the animal use was a violation of the Animal Welfare Act. But last month, pigs were killed at the end of the ATLS course.

Prior to the course, a group of Pennsylvania physicians co-signed a letter to Elizabeth Concordia, executive vice president of UPMC, speaking out against the school’s use of live animals for trauma training.

“Recent announcements by UPMC stating that the institution’s use of pigs in Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) courses would end “in a few months” are promising, but that is not soon enough,” wrote the physicians. “We urge you to end this cruel and unnecessary animal use before this week’s course to ensure that UPMC offers the best educational experience possible.”

ATLS courses at UPMC use live, anesthetized pigs to teach procedures designed to respond to acute trauma injuries. These procedures include cricothyroidotomy (an incision in the neck to relieve an obstructed airway), pericardiocentesis (removing fluid from the sac that surrounds the heart), and chest tube insertion (draining blood, fluid, or air to allow the lung to fully expand). At the end of each course, the pigs are killed.

Of the 12 medical centers in Pennsylvania, UPMC is the last one still using live animals in its ATLS courses.

In part because of PCRM’s work educating ATLS programs on superior nonanimal alternatives, 95 percent of U.S. and Canadian facilities that provide training have ended their use of animals in favor of lifelike human patient simulators. Simulators such as the TraumaMan System are approved by the American College of Surgeons, the body that oversees the courses.

ATLANTA, May 30 — Under pressure from animal rights advocates, two soft drink giants, Coca-Cola and PepsiCo, have agreed to stop directly financing research that uses animals to test or develop their products, except where such testing is required by law.

Researchers at People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals sought the assurances after discovering studies financed by the companies that used animals like rats and chimpanzees to test taste perception and, in some cases, to bolster support for promotional health claims.

PepsiCo said that it would stop directly financing animal experiments, including some it had financed through grants given to graduate students through its Gatorade Sports Science Institute.

Elaine Palmer, a spokeswoman for PepsiCo, said that while the company had never supported the idea of animal testing, “We had not been policing it, so that part is new.”

Coca-Cola and PepsiCo are the largest largest manufacturers to agree to the ban.

Coca-Cola also said that it would discontinue a grant given to a researcher at Virginia Commonwealth University who has been studying taste perception in rats, which share certain taste pathways with humans.

Representatives of Coca-Cola and the university declined to say how much financing the company was providing or to elaborate on what the ultimate application of the research might be.

A research associate at PETA, Shalin G. Gala, said, “We see these statements from Coke and Pepsi, massive global conglomerates, as the beginning of the end of all animal tests on food.”

Scientists conducting basic research in animal models have cautioned against PETA’s hard line, saying their work, which may have medical benefits, would not be possible in many cases without help from corporate sponsors.

“It’s very easy to characterize scientific research like this in a bad light,” said Dr. John A. DeSimone, a professor at Virginia Commonwealth University who had been working under the Coca-Cola grant. “To do medical research, you sometimes need an animal model.”

Not everyone agrees with Dr. DeSimone’s thinking, particularly when it involves tests on highly intelligent animals, as did a study involving a Coca-Cola scientist, financed by Nutrasweet, that cut open the faces of chimpanzees to study nerve impulses used in the perception of sweet tastes.

“I have never found chimpanzee work justifiable,” said Dr. Alan Goldberg, director of the Center for Alternatives to Animal Testing at Johns Hopkins University.

Dr. Goldberg said that over the last 30 years, advances in alternatives to animal models, many of which are usually more scientifically precise, have already reduced the number of lab animals in use by 50 percent.

“The bottom line for me is that I’d love to see animal studies disappear entirely,” Dr. Goldberg said. “In vitro models are cleaner.”

The two soft drink giants are the latest companies to respond to scrutiny by PETA, which has mounted a campaign to denounce animal testing practices in the beverage industry, an industry that, unlike cosmetics or pharmaceuticals, had largely been unpublicized in the animal testing arena.

In January, Roll International, the company that makes Pom Wonderful pomegranate juice, agreed to cease tests on animals after PETA disclosed a 2005 study financed by the company that tested the juice to see if it might relieve artificially induced erectile dysfunction in rabbits.

However, Coca-Cola is a prominently displayed major sponsor at many of
the biggest rodeos around, such as the Cheyenne Frontier Days Rodeo, the
Pendleton Round-Up, and the Houston Rodeo.

Coke also sponsors greyhound racing, an industry that annually kills
thousands of "surplus" animals ranging from excess puppies to older
racing dogs that can no longer make money for their exploiters.

Coke is a sponsor of the Iditarod, a dog sled race that has killed at
least 133 dogs, and causes intense suffering and untold numbers of
injuries to the dogs forced to race. When they are not racing, the dogs
often live under inhumane conditions.

So why is Coke sponsoring all this cruel animal abuse, in contradication
of the company's policy?
The only thing real is that Coke is giving animal abusers money,
supporting cruelty, and showing itself to be a corporation that
establishes progressive policies for public relations purposes only.

Coke has demonstrated, and continues to demonstrate, that it cares
nothing about either animals, or its own written promises and policies.


So I and my family and friends won't buy Coca-Cola products until the
company stops supporting animal abuse.

I hope you will sponsor associations which really help, protect and
respect animal life.

Amazingly, Coke blames its own bottlers. Coke claims the bottlers are able to do their own independent advertising without violating Coke's Animal Welfare Policy. This is ludicrous on its face. Coca-Cola obviously has strict control over its bottlers, and besides, the advertising is being done for Coke, not the local bottling company.

Coca-Cola likes to claim it is "The Real Thing." The only thing real is that Coke is giving animal abusers money, supporting cruelty, and showing itself to be a corporation that establishes progressive policies for public relations purposes only.

Here is Coca-Cola's latest response to all of your complaints, they have created a FAQ saying they don't support rodeo and instead they try and blame their own bottlers for all of the cruelty, torture, and death that they inflict upon rodeo animals.
