The sound still haunts me: angora rabbits screaming and writhing in pain as workers rip out their soft fur. Rabbit being plucked; This is only a glimpse of the torment that defenseless rabbits can endure for years until their throats are slit and they're skinned or sold for meat—a ghastly end to a nightmarish life for these gentle animals.
