deliverance prayers
some sample deliverance and bondage breaking prayers. Please understand that there may be other factors involved in any given bondage, such as if you are trying to break a soul tie with a rock group, but refuse to get rid of any CD's that you have from them. If you're suffering from a deep bondage in these areas, it may be a good idea to have a strong fellow believer present incase the demons begin to manifest.
breaking soul ties
Heavenly Father, I confess and repent of the sin of ___________ (name the sin which caused the evil soul tie, such as adultery or fornication), and I ask that you forgive me of this sin. [Now is a good time to destroy or get rid of any physical gifts or other objects that could hold the soul tie together, such as a gift given in an adultery, etc. Anything that could hold the bond together between you and that person.] In the name of Jesus, and by the power of His blood, I now renounce, break and sever all unholy soul ties formed between ___________ (name the person) and myself, through the sin of ____________ (name the sin which caused the evil soul tie, such as adultery or fornication). I now command any evil spirits which have taken advantage of this unholy soul tie to leave me now in the name of Jesus! (Repeat this prayer if you have more then one evil soul tie to break)
Renouncing ungodly vows
Heavenly Father, I repent and renounce the vow I made to ____________ (name the demon or person, or even God, that you made the vow to) to preform ______________ (describe what the vow entailed). I realize this was foolish and rash on my behalf, and I ask that you will forgive me and release me from the bondage that this vow has brought me under. In the name of Jesus, and by the power of His blood, I now renounce, break and nullify the vow to ________________ to preform ___________, and I confess that I am released from this vow and it's bondage in Jesus' name. I now command any evil spirits which have taken advantage of this unholy vow to leave me now in the name of Jesus! (Repeat this prayer if you have more then one unholy vow to break)
renounce involvement with unhealthy (demonic) music
Heavenly Father, I confess that I used to listen to unhealthy demonic music. I ask that you will forgive and cleanse me from this sin. In the name of Jesus, and through the power of His blood, I now renounce, break and sever all soul ties that have been formed between myself and the unhealthy music (name specific songs and artists/groups if possible) I used to listen to and enjoy, as well as any soul ties formed between myself and the artists and groups (name them specifically if possible) and demonic influences that have produced these unhealthy songs and music. In Jesus' name, I also renounce, break and nullify any curses that I may have come under as a result of listening to the unhealthy music I used to listen to and enjoy. In the name of Jesus, I now command all evil spirits to leave me that have taken advantage of these soul ties I have just renounced. In the name of Jesus, I also renounce and command any evil spirits that have taken advantage of any curses that I have come under as a result of listening to unhealthy music to leave me now in Jesus' name! I also renounce and command any evil spirits that have entered me through my listening to this unhealthy music to leave me now in the name of Jesus'!
breaking generational curses
In the name of Jesus, I confess the sins and iniquities of my parents (name specific sins if known), grandparents (name specific sins if known), and all other ancestors. In the name of Jesus, and by the power of His blood, I now renounce, break and sever all cords of iniquity and generational curses I have inherited from my parents, grandparents and all other ancestors and break and sever all unholy soul ties formed between myself and my parents, grandparents and all other ancestors. In the name of Jesus, I now loose myself and my future generations from any bondages passed down to me from my ancestors and I command any evil spirits which have taken advantage of these cords of iniquity, generational curses and unholy soul ties to leave me now in the name of Jesus!

prayer after reconciliation
My dearest GOD , I have told all my sins to the best of our ability. I have sincerely tried to make a good confession and I know that you have forgiven me. Thank You dear GOD ! Your divine heart is full of love and mercy for poor sinners. We love YOU dear GOD ; You are so good to us. Our loving Savior, we shall try to keep from sin and to love You more each day. Dear GOD , ask Jesus to pray for us and help us to keep all our promises. Protect us and do not let us fall back into sin. Dear God, help us to lead a good life. Without Your grace we can do nothing. In the name of YAHUSHUA. Amen.
prayer after reconciliation
What thanks do I not owe You, my God, not only for having created me, redeemed me, and called me to the bosom of Your Church, but still more for having waited for my return while I wandered from You in the miserable paths of sin; for having so often pardoned me as I pray You have done this day; and for preserving me from so many other sins, into which I should have fallen but for Your prevention. But my enemies will not cease to tempt until death, and if You do not support me, I am lost. I shall soon begin to offend You more grievously than ever. Grant me, through the merits of Jesus Christ, the precious grace of final perseverance. The divine Saviour has assured me that whever we ask in HIS name You will grant. I entreat You, through all that Your dear Son has suffered for me, never to let me forsake You any more. I have the greatest confidence that, through my steady prayers for this grace, You will grant it, because You have promised to hear our prayers. But I fear that, in some unguarded moment, when the world seems more important, I will forget my dependence on You, fail to ask for Your help and support, and relapse into my former misery. Grant that under all my temptations I may have instant recourse to You, invoking the holy name of Jesus. Through this, my Lord, I hope to pass from this world to Heaven, to love You forever, where I am sure to never be seperated from You, to be concumed in the fire of Your holy love for eternity. in the name of YEHUSHUA. Amen.
If you believe that the Bible offers truth about the way to salvation, but you have not made the decision yet to become a Christian, it's as simple as praying this prayer. You can pray by yourself, using your own words. There is no special formula. Just pray from your heart to God, and He will save you. If you feel lost and just don’t know what to pray, here’s a prayer of salvation that you can pray:
Dear Lord YEHUSHUA, I admit that I am a sinner. I have done many things that don’t please YOU. I have lived my life for myself. I am sorry and I repent. I ask YOU to forgive me. I believe that YOU died on the cross for me, to save me. You did what I could not do for myself. I come to YOU now and ask YOU to take control of my life, I give it to YOU. Help me to live every day in a way that pleases YOU. I love YOU, Lord, and I thank YOU that I will spend all eternity with YOU. Amen.
prayer for the chronically ill
O Lord, through the passion of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, we beseech Thee to watch over and guide all those who suffer from chronic illness. Grant to them the courage to face their situations so that others may see Your perpetual light shining through them, as a beacon of strength that overcomes setbacks, and reaffirms Your Precious Love for all the sheep among Your flock. We are all Your children in spite of their physical situation, and Your Loving Son shepherds those of us who believe. Grant them & grant us all the spiritual and mental strength to endure so that we may live in Your Divine Shadow. In the name of Jesus Christ, King of Kings, please hear and bless this prayer O Heavenly Father. Amen;
prayer of salvation
Father, I know that I have broken Your laws and my sins have separated me from YOU. I am truly sorry, and now I want to turn away from my past sinful life toward YOU. Please forgive me, and help me avoid sinning again. I believe that Your Son, Jesus died for my sins, was resurrected from the dead, is alive, and hears my prayer. I invite YOU YAHUVEH to become the Lord of my life, [[to rule and reign in my existance[[ from this day forward. Please send Your Holy Spirit to help me obey You, and to do Your will for the rest of my life. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.

Intercessory Prayers for Others – Prayers for the Needs of Others
“Father, in the name of Jesus, I pray that (person(s) name) will come to the knowledge (and deliverance power) of the Truth and be saved from destruction (of mental illness). Father, according to Psalm 107:20, You sent Your Word and healed (person(s) name) and delivered him/her from all his/her destructions. I am calling upon You in the day of trouble, asking You to deliver(person(s) name) and in the name of Jesus he/she shall honor and glorify You. Father, I thank You for delivering his/her soul from death and his/her feet from falling, so that he/she may walk before You.
It is You, Father, Who delivers (person(s) name) from the pit and corruption of (name of disorder: schizophrenia, paranoia, manic depression, etc.) Father, You have not given him/her a spirit of timidity and fear, but You have given (person(s) name)a spirit of power and of love and of calm and well balanced mind and discipline and self-control.
“For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind,”(2 Tim 1:7) KJV
In the name of Jesus, I ask You, Father to forgive (person(s) name)sins and (and his/her ancestors’ sins, and now) I stand in the gap for him/her until he/she (like King Nebuchadnezzar) comes to his/her senses and escaped out of the snare of the devil, who has held him/her captive.
Father, I commit to pray on (person(s) name) behalf making up the hedge, and standing in the gap before You for her/him, that your mercy might triumphant over judgment. Jesus, You defeated the devil for(person(s) name) we take back everything Satan as stolen from him/her.
I decree and declare that the law of the (Holy) Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made him/her free from the law of sin and death. (Person(s) name)shall no longer be of 2 minds – hesitating, dubious, irresolute – unstable and unreliable and uncertain about everything (he/she thinks, feels and decides). (Person(s) name) shall get rid of all uncleanness, receive and welcome the Word, which, implanted and rooted [in his/her heart], contains the power to save his/her soul (mind, will, and emotions).
In the name of Jesus, grace be to (person(s) name) and peace from God our Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ, Who gave Himself for his/her (and his ancestors’) sin so that He might deliver him/her from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father, to Whom be glory forever and ever. In Jesus’ Name — Amen.”
“Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ; 14 As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance: 15 But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;16 Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.” — 1 Peter 1:13-16 KJV
Breaking Curses Prayers by PASTOR PAT HOLLIDAY Play Podcast: Play in new window | Download
Father God, in the name of Jesus, We place the blood of the Lord Jesus on our doorposts (Exodus 12; 13); We draw the bloodline of Jesus around all of our possessions and properties; (Jos. 2:18); and We sprinkle (Ex 24:8; 29:20, 21; Lev 1:5; 4:6); or place the blood of Jesus upon our family.”
Thank You Father that you will put a wall of fire around our home and our presence guarding us with Your Divine protection according to Your Word in Zech. 2:5. Father, We agree with Pastor Pat, that all the demons and powers of this witchcraft are bound and we forbid those demons to be able to complete plans of torment and death to anyone… We place a supernatural tent over them and all blood sacrifices, either human or animals cannot be release over anyone and they will remain with them. Thank You Father that you will give us wisdom. I rebuke, break and loose: my family from any and all evil CURSES sent by wizard, witches or psychic Christians. We bind all the powers from blood sacrifices, (animal or human) fetishes, charms, vexes, hexes, spells, jinxes, psychotic powers, sorcery, bewitchment, enchantments, witchcraft, love potions and psychotic source.
In the name of Jesus, we bind every demon commanding them to where they came from, now. (Genesis 12:2, 28-29, Deuteronomy 30:7, Psalms 109:17-19). Let him that loves curses receive it to himself. (Psalm 109). Through the blood of Jesus, We are redeemed out of the hand of the devil. Through the blood of the Jesus, all my sins are forgiven. The blood of Jesus Christ, God’s Son, is cleansing me now from all sin. Through the blood of Jesus, We are justified, made righteous just as if WE never sinned. Through the blood of Jesus, We are sanctified, made holy, set apart for God. We are believers the name of Jesus Christ, We exercise our authority and expel’ all evil spirits. WE command them to leave now according to the Word of God and in the name of Jesus Christ.
“And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. 16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. 17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; 18 .They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.” — Mark 16:15-18 KJV
Our bodies are the temple for the Holy Spirit, redeemed, cleansed: sanctified – by the blood of Jesus. We belong to the Lord Jesus Christ, God’s Son – body, soul and spirit. His blood protects us from all evil. Because of the blood, Satan has no more power over and no more places in us. We renounce him and his hosts completely and declare them to be our enemies.
Deliverance from the Stolen Mind and Satan’s Captivity by PASTOR PAT HOLLIDAY Play Podcast: Play in new window | Download
In Africa, witches and wizards can steal the minds of people and exchange intelligences into the minds of their children. I ministered to several young men while in Africa that had their minds stolen in this manner… How it works, I can’t say but Jesus’ power can heal them. Both men were healed and restored. One returned to college, the other remained in Bishop Kanco’s church and became a worker there. Both cases were the result of witchcraft powers being worked against them.
This is how I prayed for them.
I bound the witchcraft power that had been worked over their lives and released the power of Jesus and His mind over them. Phil 2:5, “Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus,” KJV Bound the strongmen and his demonic helpers that have stolen the mind of (person(s) name) In the name of Jesus I put the strongmen and helpers under the feet of Jesus. I bound the powers of the Wizards and witches. Called their minds back asking the Lord to reconcile them to Him. Col 1:21. All in the name of Jesus
I discovered years ago that some people that are under mind controllers, minds were shattered by traumas and fear. When we ministered to them, we simply commanded their Minds to return and ask Jesus to give them a single mind. Being double minded makes a person unstable in all his ways and mentally ill. Therefore, it also attacks their nervous system and causes illness. God can heal it. James 1:8 “A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.” KJV
I loose everything the enemy has stolen, talents and sound mind and command him to return it. I command the demons to go under the feet of Jesus. In the name of Jesus, I reclaim all the things that Satan has stolen from (person(s) name) In the name of Jesus, I LOOSE all that Satan has stolen from (person(s) name) I n the name of Jesus, upon (person(s) name) mind I LOOSE spiritual knowledge, revelation, insight, understanding, wisdom, truth, discernment, diligent searching, freedom and permanent deliverance. According to Isaiah 11:2 and Ephesians 1:17-18 may the Holy Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge, revelation and fear of the Lord come to dwell in (person(s) name) According to Isaiah 11:3 may (person(s) name) not judge after the sight of his eyes neither reprove after the hearing of his ears, but according to the insight, counsel, justice and mercy of the Lord We thank You in advance. We bless You, Lord Jesus. We adore, praise and worship You, In Jesus Name, Amen. [/color]

be sincre about it, they're not just words,
say with mouth = devil, and all demon spirits that have entered into my mind and body, I do not want you in me. I renounce and tell you to leave. I turn away from all occult and demonic activity including yoga and false religion and every sin of the spirit and the flesh. I demand that you leave me. I do not want you in me. Jesus, I believe that you died for my sin and that you have redeemed me from the power of the enemy. I ask that You come into my life and that you take complete control over my life. I give every part of my life to you. I confess with my mouth that YEHUSHUA is Lord. Devil, you have to go now. YEHUSHUA takes authority over you and I give myself to Him only." Confess out loud that Jesus is Lord of my life and you will be saved and delivered. It's in the Name of YEHUSHUA and by the precious Blood of the Lamb that we have power over the wicked one. Thank you YEHUSHUA for putting up a hedge of protection around me, in YEHUSHUA' name! amen!
please LORD YAH, fill everyone in this planet with the gift of discernment in these last days, in the name of YESHUA, AMEN
Heavenly Father, i just come to YOU as i am, as ritcher, poor, blind, miserable and naked, LORD, i come to YOU and ask YOU to wash me with the blood of YESHUA with every sin i receive YOU into my life, to be the LORD & Savior of my life, i renounce the evil one's kingdom for my life, YAH i give YOU my life , LORD we ask that YOU fill leasterers?? with Your HOLY SPIRIT , we ask LORD for mighty and powerful conversion , in the name of YAHUSHUA , Amen
Dear Heavenly Father, I want to thank you that I am fearfully and wonderfully made. I come humbly to you with a repentant heart. I have not been treating the amazing body you have given me with the respect it deserves. For some reason I have bought the lie that I am not good enough. I haven’t felt ‘good enough’ for as long as I can remember. In the name of Jesus’ I bind any generational curses of insecurity that could have been passed down to me through my father’s or mother’s bloodline leading all the way back to Adam. Lord, show me the source of where the wounds of self-hatred were inflicted. Help me to forgive those who have hurt me and help me to forgive myself for hindering my health as well. I bind the spirit of depression, self-hatred, bulimia, anorexia and the suicide spirit. You no longer have control over me. I am giving every area of my mind, heart, soul, spirit and habits to the Lord. I am allowing the spirit of Christ to overcome the spirits of darkness that once ruled in those areas. You no longer have dominion. Lord, open my eyes to see how the enemy deceived me in the past. Help me to see the truth for what it is and the lies for what they are. Help me to distinguish wrong and right thoughts and to make the choices that will bring me life, not death. In the name of Jesus I am asking for a complete healing and restoration of all the areas of my life that have been affected by the spirits of body dismorphia, anorexia and bulimia. Lord, I need healing in my mind. I cast out the spirits of fear, anxiety, dizziness, foggy thinking, fainting, shame and low self esteem. Restore my brain chemistry to be perfectly balanced and in alignment with your Word. Lord, please regulate my body fluids. Raise my levels of potassium, magnesium and sodium if they are off balance. Help me to keep these levels where they need to be with proper nutrition. Restore my heart to be strong. Remove all heart flutters, low blood pressure and any unaturally slow heart rates. Help me to eat in a way that will keep my heart strong. Give me a balanced view of exercise for longevity. Strengthen my kidneys. I have put this amazing organ under extreme stress. Relieve and heal my irregular bowel movements, remove all inflammation, bloating, diarrhea and abdominal cramping in the name of Jesus. Lord, restore my hormones to be where they should be for a person of my age. If I have started depleting my bones of calcium restore what I have destroyed and help me to eat in a way that will build my bones, not destroy them. If my mouth has suffered from sores, heal them. Heal any irritated throat and esophagus tissues. Restore what the devil tried to steal from me in the years and quality of my life. Help me to understand the root causes of this eating disorder. I will not claim it as mine as it will no longer have an impact on my life like it has in the past. When I feel the compulsion to restrict my calories or to throw up, remind me of how much you love me. Help me to tap into that love whenever I don’t feel love for myself. Heal my wounded way of thinking and all the damaging memories that are associated with this disorder. Pour the blood of Jesus and the dunamis power of His resurrection spirit over these areas of my mind and body. If Jesus could raise Himself from the dead, he can raise me up from this deadly way of thinking and acting. When I am healed, allow me to be a beacon of light and encouragement to others who are struggling with the very issues you are healing me from today. In Jesus’ precious name, I accept this full and complete healing, Amen.
prayer
This is the best dowry of hopes, wishes and prayers I would be able to offer: May God give you the grace of wit and wisdom to understand that rainbows are only the result of showers, dust, and hope. May you always have joy in the morning and trust in the evening and may your sorrows be short and without scars. May your lives have a spirit neither bent by belligerence nor broken by failure; may you simply love each other. May you share with each other spring flowers, dirty dishes, rain, death, mushrooms, a measure of boredom, strawberries, and God. May that God never make you immune to the wonderful afflictions of real love, making you instead farsighted to each other's faults, tongue-tied to criticism, and short of memory to petty hurts and slights. May God provide the confidence and serenity that comes only from the assurance of each other's fidelity and the tolerance, as years go by, of wrinkles and gray hairs, short tempers, curlers, and monday mornings. May no one steal from you laughter at the top of the stairs or giggles and whispers in a dark room. May you keep a hunger for each other, the appetite to taste tomorrow, and deep knowledge of and devotion to your CHRIST, heritage and GOD. May you perpetuate trust, the radiation of vitality, kind answers to sharp questions and sharp humor to unkind attitudes. May your fights be fierce and short, and may each truce be warm and long and held in each other's arms before the sun comes up. May you walk with wise men, sing Christian songs, share secrets, have healthy relationships, provide smiles for lonesome strangers and prayers for those without hope. May you never forget small things; smiles, holding hands, animals, old friends, the neglected, all those you love & don't love, and the simplicity of saying please and thank you. May you keep a warm, generous, and happy house where love is the insulation and God is present. May you be friends of God's child, Jesus. May your union bring a smile to the face of the Holy Spirit and may he live in your pots and pans, in your hope and aspirations. In the name of CHRIST JESUS. Amen.
God’s love is not based on our goodness or how we perform but rather on who’s we are and we are all God’s children when we accept His son, Jesus Christ, who gave His life for all of us. Receiving the love of Jesus and living in his love everyday, is the first and most essential step in having a love worth giving. Jesus gave His life for you so give your life to Him. Can I really know Christ? "All people have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God." - (Romans 3:23) The answer is yes! There are a lot of words used in our world to describe what knowing Jesus means. People might ask you (Are you born again?) (Have you repented of your sins?) (Have you been saved?) Wow! It can be real confusing and sometimes scary. Our goal is to share with you in the simplest terms who Jesus is and what knowing Him can mean for your life.
Jesus is the risen Savior
scrptures for those who wish to know how to be saved
You must believe that Jesus is the risen Savior and the only Savior from the power of sin.
Ephesians 1 v 17- 23: I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is like the working of his mighty strength, which he exerted in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms, far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every title that can be given, not only in the present age but also in the one to come. God placed all things under his feet and appointed him to be head over everything for the church, which is his body, the fullness of him who fills everything in every way.
1 Corinthians 15 v 1- 4: Brothers, I want to remind you of the gospel I preached to you, which you received and on which you have taken your stand. By this Gospel you are saved, if you hold firmly to the word I preached to you. Otherwise, you have believed in vain. For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures.
Matthew 28 v 18: Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me."
Acts 2 v 36: "Therefore let all Israel be assured of this: God has made this Jesus whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ."
1 Peter 3 v 21(b)- 22: It saves you by the resurrection of Jesus Christ, (22) who has gone into heaven and is at God's right hand –with angels, authorities and powers in submission to him.
Luke 22 v 69: But from now on, the Son of man will be seated at the right hand of God.
Philippians 2 v 9: Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name.
Revelation 5 v 9: And they sang a new song: "You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals, because you were slain, and with your blood you purchased men for God from every tribe and language and people and nation."
Romans 7 v 20- 21, 23-25: (20) Now if I do what I do not want to do, it is no longer I who do it, but it is sin living in me that does it. (21) So I find this law at work: When I want to do good, evil is right there with me. (23) But I see another law at work in the members of my body, waging war against my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin at work in my members. (24) What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body of death? (25) Thanks be to God –through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, I myself in my mind am a slave to Gods law, but in the sinful nature a slave to the law of sin.
Jude v 24- 25: (24) To him who is able to keep you from falling and to present you before his glorious presence without fault and with great joy –(25) to the only God our Savior be glory, majesty, power and authority, through Jesus Christ our Lord, before all ages, now and forever more! Amen.
Isaiah 41 v 10, 13: (10) So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my right hand. (13) For I the Lord, your God, who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.
1 Peter 1 v3- 5: (3) Praise be to God and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, (4) and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade –kept in heaven for you, (5) who through faith are shielded by God's power until the coming of the salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time.
Philippians 4 v 13: I can do everything through him who gives me strength.
Revelation 7 v 9- 10: After this I looked and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and in front of the Lamb. They were holding palm branches in their hands. (10) And they cried out in a loud voice: "Salvation belongs to our God, who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb."
Matthew 26 v 28: This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.
Acts 2 v 38: Peter replied, "Repent and be baptized, everyone of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
Acts 3 v 15, 19: (15) You killed the author of life, but God raised him from the dead. We are witnesses of this. (19) Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord.
Acts 10 v 43: All the prophets testify about him that everyone who believes in him receives forgiveness of sins through his name.
Acts 26 v 17(b)- 18: (17b) I am sending you to them (18) to open their eyes and turn them from the darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, so that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in me.
Romans 4 v 7- 8: (7) Blessed are they whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered. ( Blessed is the man whose sin the Lord will never count against him.
Romans 4 v 18- 25: (18) Against all hope, Abraham in hope believed and so became the father of many nations, just as it had been said to him, "So shall your offspring be." (19) Without weakening in his faith, he had faced the fact that his body was as good as dead –since he about a hundred years old –and that Sarah's womb was also dead. (20) Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God, (21) being fully persuaded that God had the power to do what he had promised. (22) this is why "it was credited to him as righteousness." (23) The words "it was credited to him" were not written for him alone, (24) but also for us, to whom God will credit righteousness –for us who believe in him who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead. (25) He was delivered over to death for our sins and was raised to life for our justification.
Colossians 2 v 13- 15: (13) When you were dead in your sins and in the uncircumcision of your sinful nature, God made you alive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins, (14) having canceled the written code with its regulations, that was against us and that stood to oppose us; he took it away, nailing it to the cross. (15) And having disarmed the powers and the authorities, he made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross.
Hebrews 1 v3: The Son is the radiance of God's glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven.
Hebrews 2 v 18: Because he himself suffered when he was tempted, he is able to help those who are being tempted.
Hebrews 7 v 26- 28: (26) Such a high priest meets our need –one who is holy, blameless, pure, set apart from sinners, exalted above the heavens. (27) Unlike the other high priests, he does not need to offer sacrifices day after day, first for his own sins, and then for the sins of the people. He sacrificed for their sins once for all when he offered himself. (28) For the law appoints as high priests men who are weak; but the oath, which came after the law, appointed the Son, who has been made perfect forever.
Hebrews 8 v 12: For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more.
Hebrews 9 v 27- 28: (27) Just as man is destined to dies once, and after that to face judgment, (28) so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many people; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.
Hebrews 10 v 4- 18: (4) Because it is impossible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins. (5) Therefore, when Christ came into the world, he said: "Sacrifice and offering you did not desire, but a body you prepared for me; (6)with burnt offerings and sin offerings you were not pleased. (7) Then I said, 'Here I am –it is written about me in the scroll –I have come to do your will, O God.'" ( First he said, "Sacrifices and offerings, burnt offerings and sin offerings you did not desire, nor were you pleased with them" (although the law required them to be made). (9) Then he said, "Here I am, I have come to do your will." He set aside the first to establish the second. (10) And by that will, we have been made holy through the sacrifice of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. (11) Day after day every priest stands and performs his religious duties; again and again he offers the same sacrifices which can never take away the sins. (12) But when this priest had offered for all time one sacrifice for sins, he sat down at the right hand of God. (13) Since that time he waits for his enemies to be made his footstool, (14) because by one sacrifice he has made perfect forever those who are being made holy. (15) The Holy Spirit also testifies to us about this. First he says: (16) "This is the covenant I will make with them after that time, says the Lord. I will put my laws in their hearts, and I will write them on their minds." (17) Then he adds: "Their sins and lawless acts I will remember no more." (18) And where these have been forgiven, there is no longer and sacrifice for sin.
1 John 1 v 9: If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.
1 John 2 v 1- 2: (1) My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anyone does sin, we have one who speaks to the Father in our defense –Jesus Christ, the Righteous One. (2) He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world.
1 John 3 v 4- 5: (4) Everyone who sins breaks the law; in fact; sin is lawlessness. (5) But you know that he appeared so that he might take away our sins. And in him is no sin.
Revelation 1 v 5: And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood.
Hebrews 2 v 9: But we see Jesus who was made a little lower than the angels, now crowned with glory and honor because he suffered death, so that by the grace of God he might taste death for everyone.
Ephesians 1 v 7: In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God's grace.
Acts 22 v 16- 18: (16) 'Now get up and stand on your feet. I have appeared to you to appoint you as a servant and a witness of what you have seen of me and what I will show you. (17) I will rescue you from your own people and from the Gentiles. I am sending you to them (18) to open their eyes and turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, so that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in me. Everyone must die sometime. "...it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment..." Hebrews 9:27

| Have you ever made Jesus the Lord and Savior of your life? If not, pray this prayer and start a new life in Christ. Dear God, I come to You in the Name of Jesus. I admit that I am not right with You, and I want to be right with You. I ask You to forgive me of all my sins. The Bible says if I confess with my mouth that “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in my heart that God You raised Him from the dead, I will be saved (Rom. 10:9). I believe with my heart and I confess with my mouth that Jesus is the Lord and Savior of my life. Thank You for saving me GOD! In Jesus’ Name I pray. Amen.
You were in His Heart
SCRIPTURES FOR THOSE WHO WISH TO KNOW HOW TO BE SAVED He planned to save you before the world began, even then you were in His heart and on His mind.
Psalm 27 v 1: The LORD is my light and my salvation- whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life- of whom shall I be afraid?
Psalm 37 v 39 – 40: The salvation of the righteous comes from the LORD; he is their stronghold in time of trouble. The LORD helps them and delivers them; he delivers them from the wicked and saves them, because they take refuge in him.
Psalm 62 v 1 – 2: My soul finds rest in God alone; my salvation comes from him. He alone is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will never be shaken.
Psalm 84 v 11 – 12: For the LORD God is a sun and shield; the LORD bestows favor and honor; no good thing does he withhold from those whose walk is blameless. O LORD Almighty, blessed is the man who trusts in you.
Isaiah 12 v 2 – 3: surely God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid. The LORD, the LORD, is my strength and my song; he has become my salvation." With joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation.
Isaiah 25 v 9: In that day they will say, "Surely this is our God; we trusted in him, and he saved us. This is the LORD, we trusted in him; let us rejoice and be glad in his salvation."
Isaiah 55 v 1 – 3: "Come, all you who are thirsty, come to the waters; and you who have no money, come, buy and eat! Come, buy wine and milk without money and without cost. Why spend money on what is not bread, and your labor on what does not satisfy? Listen, listen to me, and eat what is good, and your soul will delight in the richest of fare. Give ear and come to me; hear me, that your soul may live.
Romans 3 v 22 – 24: This righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.
Jeremiah 3 v 22 – 23: "Return, faithless people; I will cure you of backsliding." "Yes, we will come to you, for you are the LORD our God. Surely the idolatrous commotion on the hills and mountains is a deception; surely in the LORD our God is the salvation of Israel.
Zephaniah 3 v 17: The LORD your God is with you, he is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, he will quiet you with his love, he will rejoice over you with singing."
1 Timothy 4 v 9 – 10: This is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance (and for this we labor and strive), that we have put our hope in the living God, who is the Savior of all men, and especially of those who believe.
Luke 1 v 68 – 75: "Praise be to the Lord, the God of Israel, because he has come and has redeemed his people. He has raised up a horn of salvation for us in the house of his servant David (as he said through his holy prophets of long ago), salvation from our enemies and from the hand of all who hate us– to show mercy to our fathers and to remember his holy covenant, the oath he swore to our father Abraham: to rescue us from the hand of our enemies, and to enable us to serve him without fear in holiness and righteousness before him all our days.
Luke 2 v 30 –32: For my eyes have seen your salvation, which you have prepared in the sight of all people, a light for revelation to the Gentiles and for glory to your people Israel."
John 3 v 16 - 18: "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son.
John 4 v 7 – 13: When a Samaritan woman came to draw water, Jesus said to her, "Will you give me a drink?" (His disciples had gone into the town to buy food.) The Samaritan woman said to him, "You are a Jew and I am a Samaritan woman. How can you ask me for a drink?" (For Jews do not associate with Samaritans.) Jesus answered her, "If you knew the gift of God and who it is that asks you for a drink, you would have asked him and he would have given you living water." "Sir," the woman said, "you have nothing to draw with and the well is deep. Where can you get this living water? Are you greater than our father Jacob, who gave us the well and drank from it himself, as did also his sons and his flocks and herds?" Jesus answered, "Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water I give him will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life."
John 10 v 9 – 11: I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. He will come in and go out, and find pasture. The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. "I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.
Acts 4 v 12: Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved."
Acts 15 v 7 – 11: After much discussion, Peter got up and addressed them: "Brothers, you know that some time ago God made a choice among you that the Gentiles might hear from my lips the message of the gospel and believe. God, who knows the heart, showed that he accepted them by giving the Holy Spirit to them, just as he did to us. He made no distinction between us and them, for he purified their hearts by faith. Now then, why do you try to test God by putting on the necks of the disciples a yoke that neither we nor our fathers have been able to bear? No! We believe it is through the grace of our Lord Jesus that we are saved, just as they are."
Romans 5 v 8 – 11: But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Since we have now been justified by his blood, how much more shall we be saved from God's wrath through him! For if, when we were God's enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life! Not only is this so, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation.
Romans 5 v 15: But the gift is not like the trespass. For if the many died by the trespass of the one man, how much more did God's grace and the gift that came by the grace of the one man, Jesus Christ, overflow to the many!
Romans 6 v 23: For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 8 v 31 - 33: What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all–how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies.
Romans 11 v 6: And if by grace, then it is no longer by works; if it were, grace would no longer be grace.
2 Corinthians 9 v 15: Thanks be to God for his indescribable gift!
Ephesians 2 v 8 – 10: For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith–and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God– not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
1 Thessalonians 5 v 9 – 10: For God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ. He died for us so that, whether we are awake or asleep, we may live together with him.
Hebrews 5 v 7 – 9: During the days of Jesus' life on earth, he offered up prayers and petitions with loud cries and tears to the one who could save him from death, and he was heard because of his reverent submission. Although he was a son, he learned obedience from what he suffered and, once made perfect, he became the source of eternal salvation for all who obey him.
Hebrews 9 v 27 – 28: Just as man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgment, so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many people; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him. Titus 2 v 11: For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men.
Titus 3 v 7: So that, having been justified by his grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life.
Revelation 22 v 17: The Spirit and the bride say, "Come!" And let him who hears say, "Come!" Whoever is thirsty, let him come; and whoever wishes, let him take the free gift of the water of life.
Everyone must die sometime. "...it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment..." Hebrews 9:27

| prayer for forgiveness
Forgive me my sins, O GOD ; forgive us the sins of our youth and the sins of our age, the sins of our soul and the sins of our body, my secret and my whispering sins, the sins I have done to please myself and the sins I have done to please others. Forgive those sins which I know, and the sins which I know not; forgive them, O GOD , forgive them all of Thy great goodness. Through Christ. Amen.

evening christian prayers
O my YAHWEH , at the end of this day all the animals and many humans across the globe thank You most heartily for all the graces we have received from You. We are sorry that we have not made a better use of them. We are sorry for all the sins we have committed against You. Forgive us, O our YAHWEH , and graciously protect all Your beings this night. Blessed GOD, our dear heavenly Father, take all Your beings under Your protection. Ask Yahshua to pray for us all . Sweet YAHWEH , have pity on all poor sinners, and save them from hell. Have mercy on the suffering souls in purgatory. In Yahshua' name .
Amen.
generally, this evening prayer is followed by an act of contrition, which is usually said in conjunction with an examination of conscience. A daily examination of conscience consists of a brief recounting of our actions during the day. What sins did we commit? Where did we fail? In what areas of our lives can we strive to make virtuous progress? Having determined our failures and sins, we make an act of contrition.
Act of Contrition
My God, many human beings around planet earth am sorry for our sins with all our heart. In choosing to do wrong and failing to do good, we have sinned against You whom we should love above all things. We firmly intend, with Your help, to do penance, to sin no more, and to avoid whatever leads us to sin. Our Savior Yeshua suffered and died for us. In his name, our YAHWEH , have mercy. color=#333333]LORD ABBA please, take this restless soul restless body & this brain and help me sleep well, in the name of YEHUSHUA Amen
prayer before the closing of the day
Before the closing of the day, Creator, we Thee humbly pray, That, for Thy wonted mercy's sake, Thou us under protection take. May nothing in our minds excite Vain dreams and phantoms of the night; Our enemies repress, that so Our bodies no uncleanness know. In this, most gracious Father, hear, With Christ, Thy equal Son, our prayer; Who, with the Holy Ghost and Thee, Doth live and reign eternally.
Amen.

Jesus Explained The Eucharist The Day After Feeding The 5000
Amen, amen, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you do not have life within you. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him on the last day. For my flesh is true food, and my blood is true drink. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me and I in him.John 6:53-56
Jesus Gave Us The Eucharist For All Time The Night Before He Died
"While they were eating, Jesus took bread, said the blessing, broke it, and giving it to his disciples said, "Take and eat; this is my body." Then he took a cup, gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, "Drink from it, all of you, for this is my blood of the covenant, which will be shed on behalf of many for the forgiveness of sins. " Matthew 26:26-28
Today Some Cannot Accept The Gift Just As It Was In The Time Of Jesus
"'But there are some of you who do not believe.' Jesus knew from the beginning the ones who would not believe and the one who would betray him. And he said, 'For this reason I have told you that no one can come to me unless it is granted him by my Father.' As a result of this, many (of) his disciples returned to their former way of life and no longer accompanied him. Jesus then said to the Twelve, 'Do you also want to leave?' Simon Peter answered him, 'Master, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life.'" John 6:64-68

| O GOD , Redeemer and Saviour, forgive the sins of all Your creatures who live in this world just as You forgave Peter's denial and those who crucified Your Son. Count not our transgressions, but, rather, our tears of repentance. Remember not our iniquities, but, more especially, our sorrow for the offenses we have committed against You. We long to be true to Your Word, and pray that You will love us and come to make Your dwelling place within us. We promise to give You praise and glory in love and in service all the days of our lives. In Christ Jesus name. Amen.

| GOD forgives
Happy those whose offence is forgiven, whose sin is remitted. O happy those to whom YOU GOD impute no guilt, in whose spirit is no guile. We kept it secret and our frame was wasted. We groaned all day long, for night and day Your hand was heavy upon us. Indeed our strength was dried up as by the summer's heat. But now we have acknowledged our sins; our guilt we did not hide, we said: "we will confess our offence to our God ." And You, GOD , have forgiven the guilt of our sin. So let faithful brethrens pray to You in the time of need. The floods of water may reach high but they shall stand secure. You are our hiding place, O GOD ; You save all of us from distress. Rejoice, rejoice in our GOD , exult, you just! O come, ring out your joy. All you upright of heart.

Prayer Of The Day – Standing Against Alcoholism Email A Friend!Pin It2Tweet2Comment1❮ next postprev post ❯ God,
We come to you in anguish over the hold alcohol has over people. Marriages have been rocked by it, relationships have been destroyed by it, abusive behavior has been fueled by it, children live in fear because of it, and people die because they are slave to it. We stand against alcoholism through faith in prayer and claim freedom from it! We pray that the shackles that so ensnare people with alcohol would be broken! We pray for protection from it and self-control to flee temptation. We pray specifically for wives who struggle with alcoholism. Please help them find freedom in you Lord. We pray that you would meet them where they are right now and let your Holy Spirit fall on them. Open their eyes and let them see. If there is any alcohol in there system, remove it and replace it with your righteousness! Before they are tempted, please step in and remove the desire Lord, giving them the ability to say NO! We also pray for husbands who struggle with alcoholism. We pray that you would divinely intervene, cleansing them of the stronghold alcohol has on their life. Lord, please let your Spirit fall on them in a miraculous way, healing them and freeing them from this bondage so that they can lead their family. We stand against the enemy and claim God’s mighty power and presence over our families. May you send encouragements to those who need help, give your strength to help them fight it, send peace to overcome any changes in their body and release restoration in Jesus Holy Name AMEN!

prayer to God for humility
O God, Who resists the proud and gives His grace to the humble, endow me with that true virtue of humility of which Your Divine Son gave us a living example. Let me never provoke You to anger by my pride, but make me always conscious of my lowliness and unworthiness and of my total dependence on You. In Christ's name. Amen.

Prayer to GOD for Humility
O my most humble YAHWEH, Who for love of me did humble Yourself and become obedient unto the death of the cross, how dare I appear before You and call myself Your follower when I see myself so proud that I cannot bear a single slight without resenting it! How, indeed, can I be proud, when by my sins I have so often deserved to be cast into the abyss of hell! O Jesus, meek and humble of heart, help me and make me like You.
You, for love of me, bore so many insults and injuries. I, for love of You, will bear slights and humiliations patiently. But You see, O Jesus, how proud I am in my thoughts, how disdainful in my words, how ambitious in my deeds. Grant me true humility of heart and a clear knowledge of my own nothingness. May I, for love of You, rejoice at being despised and feel no resentment when others are preferred before me. Let me not be filled with pride when I am praised, but seek only to be great in Your sight and to please You in all things. Amen.
BEHOLD ME, MOST MERCIFUL JESUS
Behold me, most merciful Jesus: a poor sinner; I cast myself at Thy sacred feet, penetrated with sorrow for my sins. Oh! let not pride any longer occupy my heart. How vain I am! How sensitive to the least humiliation! How anxious for the praise and esteem of men! How easily influenced by human respect! how many sins against charity I have committed through pride --- unkind words and actions, anger, hatred, jealousy, and revenge! let no pride any longer dominate and disturb the peace of my soul --- that soul, which Thou, my Savior, hast so tenderly loved and redeemed at so great a cost!
Cleanse my poor soul, O Jesus, from all offensive stains, and drown my imperfections in the boundless ocean of Thy mercy. My Jesus, mercy! Sweetest Jesus, grant me an increase of faith, hope, and charity; a contrite and humble heart. Amen.
To obtain detachment from earthly goods (against greed
O GOD, Your Son chose a life of poverty and obscurity. Grant me the grace to keep my heart detached from the transitory things of this world. Let it be that henceforth, You are my only treasure, for You are infinitely more precious than all others possessions. My heart is too solicitous for the vain and fleeting things of earth. Make me always mindful of Your warning words: "What does it profit a man if he gain the whole world, but suffer the loss of his own soul?" Grant me the grace to keep the holy example of Yehushua always before my eyes, that I may despise the nothingness of this world and make You the object of all my desires and affections. In the name of Christ. Amen.

prayer for purity

Prayer for Purity
St. Aloysius, adorned with angelic virtues, I commend to you most earnestly the chastity of my mind and body. I pray you, by your angelic purity, commend me to the Immaculate Lamb, Jesus Christ, and to His most holy Mother, the Virgin of virgins, and to protect me from every grievous sins. Permit me not to defile myself by any spot of impurity; and when you see me in temptation or in danger of sin, banish far from my heart every unclean thought and desire. Awaken in me the thought of eternity and of Jesus Crucified; imprint deeply in my heart a lively sense of the holy fear of God; set me on fire with the love of God and grant me the grace to imitate you on earth, that I may enjoy the possession of God with you in heaven. Amen.
Prayer to Overcome Sloth and lukewarmness
O my God, I know well that so negligent a life as mine cannot please You. I know that by my lukewarmness I have closed the door to the graces which You desire to bestow on me. O my God, do not reject me, as I deserve, but continue to be merciful toward me, and I will make great efforts to amend and to arise from this miserable state. In the future I will be more careful to overcome my passions and to follow Your inspirations; and never through slothfulness will I omit my duties, but will strive to fulfill them with greater diligence and fidelity. In short, I will from this time forward do all I can to please You, and will neglect nothing which I know to be pleasing to You. Since You, O my GOD, has been so liberal with Your graces toward me and Yehushua has deigned to give His Blood and His Life for me, I am sorry for having acted with so little generosity toward Him, Who is worthy of all honor and all love. But, O my YAHWEH, You know my weakness. Help me with Your powerful grace; in You I confide. In the name of Christ. Amen.
slothfulness / pereza

O YAHWEH, help me to overcome myself and to become a saint. In the name of Yeshua. Amen.
Prayer of souls enslaved by bad habits
Behold me, O my God, at Your Feet! I do not deserve mercy, but, O my Redeemer, the Blood which You had shed for me encourages and obliges me to hope for it. How often I have offended You, and yet I have again fallen into the same sin. O my God, I wish to amend, and in order to be faithful to You, I will place all my confidence in You. I will, whenever I am tempted, instantly have recourse to You. Hitherto, I have trusted in my own promises and resolutions and have neglected to recommend myself to You in my temptations. This has been the cause of my repeated failures. From this day forward, O YAHWEH, be my strength, and thus I shall be able to do all things, for "I can do all things in Him who strengthens me." Amen.
To Overcome Some Vice Such as Intemperance or Impurity
O God, Who broke the chains of blessed Peter the Apostle, and made him come forth unscathed, loose the bonds of Your servant, (name), held in captivity by the vice of (name it); and by the merits of the same Apostle, grant me/him/her to be delivered from its tyranny. Remove from my/his/her heart all excessive love for sensual pleasures and gratifications, so that living soberly, justly and piously, I/he/she may attain to everlasting life with You. Amen.
Against Evil Thoughts
Almighty and all-merciful God, look favorably upon our prayers and free our hearts from temptation to evil thoughts, that we may deserve to be accounted worthy dwelling places of the Holy Spirit. Shed upon our hearts the brightness of Your grace, that we may ever think thoughts worthy of Your majesty and pleasing to You, and ever sincerely love You. Through Christ Our Lord. Amen.
Prayer for God's Graces
O my God, remember that moment when for the first time You poured Your grace into my heart, washing me of original sin that You might receive me into the number of Your children. O God, You Who are my Father, grant me in Your infinite mercy, through the merits and Blood of Jesus Christ, and through the sorrows of the holy Virgin Mary, the graces which You desire that I should receive this day for Your greater glory and my salvation.
O Heart of Love, I place all my trust in You; for though I fear all things from my own weakness, I hope all things from Your goodness.
O purest heart of the Blessed Virgin Mary, obtain for me from Jesus a pure and humble heart. Amen.

prayer for forgiveness
51 Be merciful to me, O God, because of your constant love. Because of your great mercy wipe away my sins! 2 Wash away all my evil and make me clean from my sin! 3 I recognize my faults; I am always conscious of my sins. 4 I have sinned against you—only against you— and done what you consider evil. So you are right in judging me; you are justified in condemning me. 5 I have been evil from the day I was born; from the time I was conceived, I have been sinful. 6 Sincerity and truth are what you require; fill my mind with your wisdom. 7 Remove my sin, and I will be clean; wash me, and I will be whiter than snow. 8 Let me hear the sounds of joy and gladness; and though you have crushed me and broken me, I will be happy once again. 9 Close your eyes to my sins and wipe out all my evil. 10 Create a pure heart in me, O God, and put a new and loyal spirit in me. 11 Do not banish me from your presence; do not take your holy spirit away from me. 12 Give me again the joy that comes from your salvation, and make me willing to obey you. 13 Then I will teach sinners your commands, and they will turn back to you. 14 Spare my life, O God, and save me, and I will gladly proclaim your righteousness. 15 Help me to speak, GOD , and I will praise you. 16 You do not want sacrifices, or I would offer them; you are not pleased with burnt offerings. 17 My sacrifice is a humble spirit, O God; you will not reject a humble and repentant heart. 18 O God, be kind to Zion and help her; rebuild the walls of Jerusalem. 19 Then you will be pleased with proper sacrifices and with our burnt offerings; In the name of Jesus. Amen

Prayer For All Victims Of Rape, Incest and Spousal Abuse centurionguard's picture Submitted by centurionguard on Mon, 2012-07-23 11:04 Prayer Room Dear God of endless love, ever caring, ever strong, always present, always just: You gave your only Son to save us by the Blood of His Cross. Gentle Jesus, shepherd of peace, Join our anguishing souls to your own suffering the pain of all who have been hurt in Body, Mind, and Spirit by those who betrayed the trust placed in them. Hear our cries as we agonize over the harm done to our brothers and sisters. Breathe wisdom into our prayers, soothe restless hearts with hope, steady shaken spirits with faith: Show us the way to justice and wholeness, enlightened by truth and enfolded in your mercy. Holy Spirit, comforter of hearts, heal your people’s wounds and transform our brokenness. Grant us courage and wisdom, humility and grace, so that we may act with justice and find peace in you. We ask this Healing through Christ, our Lord. Amen.
A Prayer to End Gun Violence Merciful Lord, we come to you heavy hearted, for we have heard the cries of the slain calling to us from the ground. We come remembering all the lives lost to the weapons of war that have flooded our communities. We come reminded of the many bodies locked in jails and prisons all across this country. And we ask for your mercy. Although we find ourselves in a broken world – a world in which hurting people hurt other people, it is no mystery that you are a God capable of healing our world through justice and fairness. Your own revelation has shown us that you stand firmly with those people whose backs are against the wall. Your own life demonstrates how you came from heaven to earth to redeem creation, our communities and our own lives. So we ask for this same redemptive power to be unleashed among us as it was on the day of Pentecost. May we be empowered by your Spirit to reverse the conditions that produce young men and women who are driven to resort to violence and destructive behavior in their fight to stay alive and struggle to remain free. We know that you have no pleasure in the death of anyone, so we boldly come to the throne of grace today dear Lord, seeking your wisdom as we create strategies that provide pathways and lifelines to hope and healing. Help us to remember we are all your children, created in your image, and we are connected by a single garment of mutuality and destiny. Cause us to never forget how our needs are the same and our calling to address these needs are the same. Reveal to us Lord, that the pain felt in Newtown is the same pain felt in Chicago. The tears shed in Oak Creek are the same tears shed in Oakland. The lives lost in Tucson are the same lives lost in Camden. The children being buried in Aurora are the same children being buried in Detroit. We cry out to you, heal our souls from this scourge of violence. Endow us with the courage to step down from the pulpits and out from behind our desks to seek the peace of the city. In the coming days and weeks as our leaders debate solutions, Lord we ask that you grant us the voice to speak truth power and demonstrate sacrificial compassion to the hurting. Teach us your ways, O God. Bless us with the wisdom and strength to put down our swords and be peacemakers. Use us, work through us and, if necessary, work in spite of us to mend our nation’s brokenness. We thank you for your protecting embrace and unfailing love. All of these requests we bring to you, in the name of Jesus the Christ we pray. Amen.

| [color=#3366cc]Prayers For Forgiveness and Repentance Forgiveness and repentance go hand-in-hand in a Christian’s life. We must learn to always forgive others and to ask for forgiveness ourselves. Without repentance, we are liable of judgment from God. If we withhold forgiveness to others, forgiveness will also be withheld from us. Here are 7 prayers focusing on forgiveness and repentance. May we all strive to live as holy as possible by allowing the Spirit to convict us of our sins and to forgive others that sin against us. prayers obsessive thoughts Jesus Explained That Eternal Life Is Gained Through The Spirit - Not Through The Flesh. Jesus' Flesh And Blood Are Of Divine Nature (Spirit) And Not Of This World (Flesh) "It is the spirit that gives life, while the flesh is of no avail. The words I have spoken to you are spirit and life." John 6:64-68 It's NOT Just Bread And Wine - It's NOT Just Crackers And Grape Juice. Jesus Gave Us The Eucharist To Nourish Us Until He Returns. Come Home To HIS Church And Accept HIS Holy Flesh And Blood. "Whoever listens to you listens to me. Whoever rejects you rejects me. Whoever rejects me rejects the one who sent me." Luke 10:16 Do Not Reject Jesus. Learn the truth. our objective is to spread the truth of the Christian Faith . Many of our brothers and sisters are misinformed or have no knowledge about our Christian Faith. Join the evangelization effort . 1. A Child's Bedtime Prayer Now I lay me down to sleep. I pray the Lord my soul to keep. If I should die before I wake, I pray to God my soul to take. If I should live for other days, I pray the Lord to guide my ways. Father, unto thee I pray, Thou hast guarded me all day; Safe I am while in thy sight, Safely let me sleep tonight. Bless my friends, the whole world bless; Help me to learn helpfulness; Keep me every in thy sight; So to all I say good night. 2. Now the Light has Gone Away Now the light has gone away; Savior, listen while I pray. Asking Thee to watch and keep And to send me quiet sleep. Jesus, Savior, wash away All that has been wrong to-day; Help me every day to be Good and gentle, more like Thee. Let my near and dear ones be Always near and dear to Thee. O bring me and all I love To Thy happy home above. 3. Jesus, Tender Shepherd Jesus, tender Shepherd, hear me: Bless Thy little child to-night; Through the darkness be Thou near me, Keep me safe till morning light. All this day Thy hand has led me, And I thank Thee for Thy care; Thou hast warmed me, clothed me, fed me; Listen to my evening prayer. May my sins be all forgiven; Bless the friends I love so well; Take me, Lord, at last to heaven. Happy there with Thee to dwell. 4. Lord, I have Passed Another Day Lord, I have passed another day And come to thank Thee for Thy care. Forgive my faults in work or play And listen to my evening prayer. Thy favor gives me daily bread And friends, who all my wants supply: And safely now I rest my head, Preserved and guarded by Thine eye. 5. The Day is Done The day is done; O God the Son, Look down upon Thy little one! O Light of Light, Keep me this night, And shed round me Thy presence bright. I need not fear If Thou art near; Thou art my Savior Kind and dear. An obsession is a thought that you can’t get out of your mind. For example, you think the germs that are all around us will make you gravely ill if you don’t wash thoroughly. The exaggeration, fear, and this inability to get rid of that thought are what make it an obsession. A compulsion is a behavior that is done to stop the obsession.
Some Facts:
When religion and spirituality are central in a person’s life, obsessive-compulsive symptoms tend to be noticed there. The term, scruples is often used to describe obsessive-compulsive disorder manifested in religious ways. Repeatedly saying the same prayer over and over again because of a fear that praying differently might be wrong (or break rules) is a scruple. For Catholics, going to confession every time a simple mistake is made because of a fear of hell, is a scruple.
Many Saints struggled with obsessive-compulsive disorder. They all had ways of dealing with it. Some were completely healed of it. Others however struggled on and off their entire lives. Today there are very good treatments, both behavioral and medical. So if you have scruples (obsessive-compulsive disorder) seek help.
This past week, someone sent a comment for posting on an earlier blog entry here. helpful to some Catholics battling with scruples.

Father, I'm praying for (name one or more) and others in my circle of family and friends who are single... For these who are not married and may find it troubling, I ask You to help them learn to be content with being single, as well as with any other issues or circumstances of life they find themselves in. (Philippians 4:11b) Help them delight in You, for You have said when we do, You'll give us the desires of our heart. May their desires match Your desires, Your will and plan for their lives; then fulfill Your purpose for them. (Psalm 37:4; 57:2; 138: If Your plan is for them to be married, give them the grace to wait on You, to be strong and take heart. As they wait, help them to keep Your ways, discerning what is best, keeping pure and blameless in Your sight. (Psalm 27:14; 37:34; Philippians 1:10) I ask Your special touch on those who are single parents, because managing a home without a spouse can be difficult. May they put their hope in You, continuing night and day in prayer. May others in the body of Christ respond to their needs as they would want to be helped if they were alone. (1 Timothy 5:5; Matthew 7:12) May they be fulfilled in Christ. In Jesus' name, amen.

| Christian Prayer For Forgiveness Dear GOD, You alone are my GOD ! You alone are our Savior! You alone, we worship and serve! we come to You today, asking for forgiveness. We have sinned again, and we are full of guilt. Some sins we have committed by mistake, others we have willfully chosen. For those especially, We beg Your forgiveness! God, please search our hearts, and see how much we long to be a good Christian, who does what is right! Please take into account how hard it is to live here in these last days of tribulation! Please take these sins we bring to You, and every sin we have ever committed, and let them be upon You on the cross of salvation. Please oh God , deliver us from punishment. Once again we all ask, be the punishment for me, on that cross, 2,000+ years ago. Without this, we would have nothing but hell to pay, but through Your Son Jesus, Son o God, we are forgiven! We choose to believe the truth, that You understand it all. In according to Your word, we confess my sins to You, and ask that they be forgiven all of us humans. In Jesus Christ's name.Amen! James 5:15.
In ancient Jewish society, it was the duty of the servant to wash the master’s feet. In today’s reading, Jesus takes on the role of servant and washes his disciples’ feet. The reading concludes with Jesus alluding to his betrayal and identifying himself with the Divine Name (“I Am”). ________________________________________ Today’s Scripture: John 13:14 “I, your Lord and Teacher, have just washed your feet. You, then, should wash one another’s feet.” ________________________________________ Today’s Reading Jesus Washes His Disciples' Feet 1It was now the day before the Passover Festival. Jesus knew that the hour had come for him to leave this world and go to the Father. He had always loved those in the world who were his own, and he loved them to the very end. 2Jesus and his disciples were at supper. The Devil had already put into the heart of Judas, the son of Simon Iscariot, the thought of betraying Jesus. 3Jesus knew that the Father had given him complete power; he knew that he had come from God and was going to God.4So he rose from the table, took off his outer garment, and tied a towel around his waist.5Then he poured some water into a washbasin and began to wash the disciples' feet and dry them with the towel around his waist.6He came to Simon Peter, who said to him, “Are you going to wash my feet, Lord?” 7Jesus answered him, “You do not understand now what I am doing, but you will understand later.” 8Peter declared, “Never at any time will you wash my feet!” “If I do not wash your feet,” Jesus answered, “you will no longer be my disciple.” 9Simon Peter answered, “Lord, do not wash only my feet, then! Wash my hands and head, too!” 10Jesus said, “Those who have taken a bath are completely clean and do not have to wash themselves, except for their feet. All of you are clean—all except one.” (11Jesus already knew who was going to betray him; that is why he said, “All of you, except one, are clean.”) 12 After Jesus had washed their feet, he put his outer garment back on and returned to his place at the table. “Do you understand what I have just done to you?” he asked.13“You call me Teacher and Lord, and it is right that you do so, because that is what I am.14I, your Lord and Teacher, have just washed your feet. You, then, should wash one another's feet.15I have set an example for you, so that you will do just what I have done for you.16 I am telling you the truth: no slaves are greater than their master, and no messengers are greater than the one who sent them.17Now that you know this truth, how happy you will be if you put it into practice! 18 “I am not talking about all of you; I know those I have chosen. But the scripture must come true that says, ‘The man who shared my food turned against me.’19I tell you this now before it happens, so that when it does happen, you will believe that ‘I Am Who I Am.’20 I am telling you the truth: whoever receives anyone I send receives me also; and whoever receives me receives him who sent me.” ________________________________________ Reflect Why did Jesus choose foot washing as a way to teach his disciples about what it means to serve one another? Whose “feet” will you wash today? ________________________________________ Pray YAHWEH, by Your example YOU have taught us what it means to serve one another. Give us a humble heart and open our eyes this day to those in need of love and care. In Your Son’s holy name, we pray. Amen. Prayer Concern Podiatrists The crowd who had been looking for Jesus finds him. Jesus explains the difference between the manna that their ancestors ate in the desert and the “real bread from heaven.” Some who hear Jesus’ words find his teaching too hard and turn away. ________________________________________ Today’s Scripture: John 6:35 “I am the bread of life,” Jesus told them. “Those who come to me will never be hungry; those who believe in me will never be thirsty.” ________________________________________ Today’s Reading Jesus the Bread of Life 25When the people found Jesus on the other side of the lake, they said to him, “Teacher, when did you get here?” 26Jesus answered, “I am telling you the truth: you are looking for me because you ate the bread and had all you wanted, not because you understood my miracles.27 Do not work for food that spoils; instead, work for the food that lasts for eternal life. This is the food which the Son of Man will give you, because God, the Father, has put his mark of approval on him.” 28So they asked him, “What can we do in order to do what God wants us to do?” 29Jesus answered, “What God wants you to do is to believe in the one he sent.” 30They replied, “What miracle will you perform so that we may see it and believe you? What will you do?31 Our ancestors ate manna in the desert, just as the scripture says, ‘He gave them bread from heaven to eat.’” 32“I am telling you the truth,” Jesus said. “What Moses gave you was not the bread from heaven; it is my Father who gives you the real bread from heaven.33For the bread that God gives is he who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.” 34“Sir,” they asked him, “give us this bread always.” 35“I am the bread of life,” Jesus told them. “Those who come to me will never be hungry; those who believe in me will never be thirsty.36Now, I told you that you have seen me but will not believe.37Everyone whom my Father gives me will come to me. I will never turn away anyone who comes to me,38because I have come down from heaven to do not my own will but the will of him who sent me.39And it is the will of him who sent me that I should not lose any of all those he has given me, but that I should raise them all to life on the last day.40For what my Father wants is that all who see the Son and believe in him should have eternal life. And I will raise them to life on the last day.” 41The people started grumbling about him, because he said, “I am the bread that came down from heaven.”42So they said, “This man is Jesus son of Joseph, isn't he? We know his father and mother. How, then, does he now say he came down from heaven?” 43Jesus answered, “Stop grumbling among yourselves.44People cannot come to me unless the Father who sent me draws them to me; and I will raise them to life on the last day.45 The prophets wrote, ‘Everyone will be taught by God.’ Anyone who hears the Father and learns from him comes to me.46This does not mean that anyone has seen the Father; he who is from God is the only one who has seen the Father.47I am telling you the truth: he who believes has eternal life.48I am the bread of life.49Your ancestors ate manna in the desert, but they died.50But the bread that comes down from heaven is of such a kind that whoever eats it will not die.51I am the living bread that came down from heaven. If you eat this bread, you will live forever. The bread that I will give you is my flesh, which I give so that the world may live.” 52This started an angry argument among them. “How can this man give us his flesh to eat?” they asked. 53Jesus said to them, “I am telling you the truth: if you do not eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you will not have life in yourselves.54Those who eat my flesh and drink my blood have eternal life, and I will raise them to life on the last day.55For my flesh is the real food; my blood is the real drink.56Those who eat my flesh and drink my blood live in me, and I live in them.57The living Father sent me, and because of him I live also. In the same way whoever eats me will live because of me.58This, then, is the bread that came down from heaven; it is not like the bread that your ancestors ate, but then later died. Those who eat this bread will live forever.” 59Jesus said this as he taught in the synagogue in Capernaum. The Words of Eternal Life 60Many of his followers heard this and said, “This teaching is too hard. Who can listen to it?” 61Without being told, Jesus knew that they were grumbling about this, so he said to them, “Does this make you want to give up?62Suppose, then, that you should see the Son of Man go back up to the place where he was before?63 What gives life is God's Spirit; human power is of no use at all. The words I have spoken to you bring God's life-giving Spirit.64Yet some of you do not believe.” (Jesus knew from the very beginning who were the ones that would not believe and which one would betray him.)65And he added, “This is the very reason I told you that no people can come to me unless the Father makes it possible for them to do so.” 66Because of this, many of Jesus' followers turned back and would not go with him any more.67So he asked the twelve disciples, “And you—would you also like to leave?” 68 Simon Peter answered him, “Lord, to whom would we go? You have the words that give eternal life.69And now we believe and know that you are the Holy One who has come from God.” 70Jesus replied, “I chose the twelve of you, didn't I? Yet one of you is a devil!”71He was talking about Judas, the son of Simon Iscariot. For Judas, even though he was one of the twelve disciples, was going to betray him. ________________________________________ Reflect After Jesus tells the crowd that God wants them “to believe in the one he sent” (verse 29), the people demand a miracle. Why? Reread verses 32-40. How does Jesus contrast himself as the “bread of life” with the manna that was given to the people’s ancestors in the desert? What does Jesus as the “bread of life” mean to you? Why did some of the followers turn away (verse 60)? What did Simon Peter say (verse 68)? ________________________________________ Pray Lord Jesus, you are the true bread of life. I hunger for your word each day. You have the words that give eternal life. Amen. ________________________________________ Prayer Concern Those who have abandoned their faith in Jesus Jesus uses the images of shepherd, gate, and sheep to describe his relationship between himself and his followers. The sheep know the shepherd’s voice and follow him. Unlike a thief who comes only to steal or destroy, and unlike a hired worker who fails to protect the sheep, Jesus as the good shepherd is willing to die for the sheep. Jesus’ words once again cause division among the people. ________________________________________ Today’s Scripture: John 10:11 “I am the good shepherd, who is willing to die for the sheep.” ________________________________________ Today’s Reading The Parable of the Shepherd 1Jesus said, “I am telling you the truth: the man who does not enter the sheep pen by the gate, but climbs in some other way, is a thief and a robber.2The man who goes in through the gate is the shepherd of the sheep.3The gatekeeper opens the gate for him; the sheep hear his voice as he calls his own sheep by name, and he leads them out.4When he has brought them out, he goes ahead of them, and the sheep follow him, because they know his voice.5They will not follow someone else; instead, they will run away from such a person, because they do not know his voice.” 6Jesus told them this parable, but they did not understand what he meant. Jesus the Good Shepherd 7So Jesus said again, “I am telling you the truth: I am the gate for the sheep.8All others who came before me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not listen to them.9I am the gate. Those who come in by me will be saved; they will come in and go out and find pasture.10The thief comes only in order to steal, kill, and destroy. I have come in order that you might have life—life in all its fullness. 11 “I am the good shepherd, who is willing to die for the sheep.12When the hired man, who is not a shepherd and does not own the sheep, sees a wolf coming, he leaves the sheep and runs away; so the wolf snatches the sheep and scatters them.13The hired man runs away because he is only a hired man and does not care about the sheep.14-15 I am the good shepherd. As the Father knows me and I know the Father, in the same way I know my sheep and they know me. And I am willing to die for them.16There are other sheep which belong to me that are not in this sheep pen. I must bring them, too; they will listen to my voice, and they will become one flock with one shepherd. 17“The Father loves me because I am willing to give up my life, in order that I may receive it back again.18No one takes my life away from me. I give it up of my own free will. I have the right to give it up, and I have the right to take it back. This is what my Father has commanded me to do.” 19Again there was a division among the people because of these words.20Many of them were saying, “He has a demon! He is crazy! Why do you listen to him?” 21But others were saying, “A man with a demon could not talk like this! How could a demon give sight to blind people?” ________________________________________ Reflect Jesus says “I am the gate” (verses 7, 9) and “I am the good shepherd” (verses 11, 14). These statements are among those that are referred to as the “I am” passages in John’s Gospel (see also 6:35, 8:12, 11:25, 14:6, 15:5). In Exodus 3:13-15, God’s name (I AM) is revealed to Moses. In John’s Gospel, Jesus’ use of the term “I am” connects him to God. In today’s reading, what do the images of “gate” and “shepherd” convey to you about Jesus? ________________________________________ Pray GOD, Your Son is the Good Shepherd, and He was willing to die for our sake. Lead all Your beings each day with Your gentle and loving voice. In Yeshua’s name . Amen. ________________________________________ Prayer Concern Those who tend flocks of sheep

Marianne Cope: Though leprosy scared off most people in 19th-century Hawaii, that disease sparked great generosity in the woman who came to be known as Mother Marianne of Molokai. Her courage helped tremendously to improve the lives of its victims in Hawaii, a territory annexed to the United States during her lifetime (1898). <p>Mother Marianne’s generosity and courage were celebrated at her May 14, 2005, beatification in Rome. She was a woman who spoke “the language of truth and love” to the world, said Cardinal José Saraiva Martins, prefect of the Congregation for Saints’ Causes. Cardinal Martins, who presided at the beatification Mass in St. Peter’s Basilica, called her life “a wonderful work of divine grace.” Speaking of her special love for persons suffering from leprosy, he said, “She saw in them the suffering face of Jesus. Like the Good Samaritan, she became their mother.” </p><p>On January 23, 1838, a daughter was born to Peter and Barbara Cope of Hessen-Darmstadt, Germany. The girl was named after her mother. Two years later the Cope family emigrated to the United States and settled in Utica, New York. Young Barbara worked in a factory until August 1862, when she went to the Sisters of the Third Order of Saint Francis in Syracuse, New York. After profession in November of the next year, she began teaching at Assumption parish school. </p><p>Marianne held the post of superior in several places and was twice the novice mistress of her congregation. A natural leader, three different times she was superior of St. Joseph’s Hospital in Syracuse, where she learned much that would be useful during her years in Hawaii. </p><p>Elected provincial in 1877, Mother Marianne was unanimously re-elected in 1881. Two years later the Hawaiian government was searching for someone to run the Kakaako Receiving Station for people suspected of having leprosy. More than 50 religious communities in the United States and Canada were asked. When the request was put to the Syracuse sisters, 35 of them volunteered immediately. On October 22, 1883, Mother Marianne and six other sisters left for Hawaii where they took charge of the Kakaako Receiving Station outside Honolulu; on the island of Maui they also opened a hospital and a school for girls. </p><p>In 1888, Mother Marianne and two sisters went to Molokai to open a home for “unprotected women and girls” there. The Hawaiian government was quite hesitant to send women for this difficult assignment; they need not have worried about Mother Marianne! On Molokai she took charge of the home that St. Damien de Veuster [May 10, d. 1889] had established for men and boys. Mother Marianne changed life on Molokai by introducing cleanliness, pride and fun to the colony. Bright scarves and pretty dresses for the women were part of her approach. </p><p>Awarded the Royal Order of Kapiolani by the Hawaiian government and celebrated in a poem by Robert Louis Stevenson, Mother Marianne continued her work faithfully. Her sisters have attracted vocations among the Hawaiian people and still work on Molokai. </p><p>Mother Marianne died on August 9, 1918 and was beatified in 2005 and canonized seven years later.</p> American Catholic Blog Lord, my ultimate desire is to know you and serve you in this world so as to spend eternity with you in the next. Psalm 71 Contemporary English Version A Prayer for God’s Protection
I run to you, Lord, for protection. Don’t disappoint me. 2 You do what is right, so come to my rescue. Listen to my prayer and keep me safe. 3 Be my mighty rock,[a] the place where I can always run for protection. Save me by your command! You are my mighty rock and my fortress. 4 Come and save me, Lord God, from vicious and cruel and brutal enemies! 5 I depend on you, and I have trusted you since I was young. 6 I have relied on you[b] from the day I was born. You brought me safely through birth, and I always praise you. 7 Many people think of me as something evil. But you are my mighty protector, 8 and I praise and honor you all day long. 9 Don’t throw me aside when I am old; don’t desert me when my strength is gone. 10 My enemies are plotting because they want me dead. 11 They say, “Now we’ll catch you! God has deserted you, and no one can save you.” 12 Come closer, God! Please hurry and help. 13 Embarrass and destroy all who want me dead; disgrace and confuse all who want to hurt me. 14 I will never give up hope or stop praising you. 15 All day long I will tell the wonderful things you do to save your people. But you have done much more than I could possibly know. 16 I will praise you, Lord God, for your mighty deeds and your power to save. 17 You have taught me since I was a child, and I never stop telling about your marvelous deeds. 18 Don’t leave me when I am old and my hair turns gray. Let me tell future generations about your mighty power. 19 Your deeds of kindness are known in the heavens. No one is like you! 20 You made me suffer a lot, but you will bring me back from this deep pit and give me new life. 21 You will make me truly great and take my sorrow away. 22 I will praise you, God, the Holy One of Israel. You are faithful. I will play the harp and sing your praises. 23 You have rescued me! I will celebrate and shout, singing praises to you with all my heart. 24 All day long I will announce your power to save. I will tell how you disgraced and disappointed those who wanted to hurt me. 10 Short Prayers For Protection by PAMELA ROSE WILLIAMS · Print Print · Email Email God is the great Protector. His name in Hebrew to describe this is Jehovah-Nissi. He is the One who defends, delivers, covers, preserves, shelters and watches over us. Sometimes we need to call upon Him in our prayers for protection. Here are ten short prayers for protection that you might want to consider. Jacob’s Prayer for Protection from Esau (Genesis 32:9-12) Prayers for Protection "... Please deliver me from the hand of my brother" And Jacob said, “O God of my father Abraham and God of my father Isaac, O Lord who said to me, ‘Return to your country and to your kindred, that I may do you good,’ I am not worthy of the least of all the deeds of steadfast love and all the faithfulness that you have shown to your servant, for with only my staff I crossed this Jordan, and now I have become two camps. Please deliver me from the hand of my brother, from the hand of Esau, for I fear him, that he may come and attack me, the mothers with the children. But you said, ‘I will surely do you good, and make your offspring as the sand of the sea, which cannot be numbered for multitude.'” Jehoshaphat Fasted and Prayed for Protection from the Moabites and Ammonites and the Meunites (2 Chronicles 20:6-12) “O Lord, God of our fathers, are you not God in heaven? You rule over all the kingdoms of the nations. In your hand are power and might, so that none is able to withstand you. Did you not, our God, drive out the inhabitants of this land before your people Israel, and give it forever to the descendants of Abraham your friend? And they have lived in it and have built for you in it a sanctuary for your name, saying, ‘If disaster comes upon us, the sword, judgment, or pestilence, or famine, we will stand before this house and before you— for your name is in this house—and cry out to you in our affliction, and you will hear and save.’ And now behold, the men of Ammon and Moab and Mount Seir, whom you would not let Israel invade when they came from the land of Egypt, and whom they avoided and did not destroy— behold, they reward us by coming to drive us out of your possession, which you have given us to inherit. O our God, will you not execute judgment on them? For we are powerless against this great horde that is coming against us. We do not know what to do, but our eyes are on you.” Ezra Fasted and Prayed for Protection from the Enemy (Ezra 8:21-23) Then I proclaimed a fast there, at the river Ahava, that we might humble ourselves before our God, to seek from him a safe journey for ourselves, our children, and all our goods. For I was ashamed to ask the king for a band of soldiers and horsemen to protect us against the enemy on our way, since we had told the king, “The hand of our God is for good on all who seek him, and the power of his wrath is against all who forsake him.” So we fasted and implored our God for this, and he listened to our entreaty. David’s Prayer for Protection from his son Absalom (Psalms 3) O Lord, how many are my foes! Many are rising against me; many are saying of my soul, there is no salvation for him in God. Selah But you, O Lord, are a shield about me, my glory, and the lifter of my head. I cried aloud to the Lord, and he answered me from his holy hill. Selah I lay down and slept; I woke again, for the Lord sustained me. I will not be afraid of many thousands of people who have set themselves against me all around. Arise, O Lord! Save me, O my God! For you strike all my enemies on the cheek; you break the teeth of the wicked. Salvation belongs to the Lord; your blessing be on your people! Selah Stephen’s Prayer for the Protection (mercy) of His Murderers (Acts 7:60) And falling to his knees he cried out with a loud voice, “Lord, do not hold this sin against them.” And when he had said this, he fell asleep. Paul’s Prayer Thanking God for Deliverance from Evil at Colossae (Colossians 1:9-14) And so, from the day we heard, we have not ceased to pray for you, asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so as to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God. May you be strengthened with all power, according to his glorious might, for all endurance and patience with joy, giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in light. He has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. “The Lorica” [1] I bind to myself today – God’s Power to guide me, God’s Might to uphold me, God’s Wisdom to teach me, God’s Eye to watch over me God’s Ear to hear me, God’s Word to give me speech, God’s Hand to guide me, God’s Way to lie before me, God’s Shield to shelter me, God’s Host to secure me, Against the snares of demons, against the seductions of vices, against the lusts of nature, Against everyone who meditates injury to me, whether far or near, whether few or with many. Personalized Well-known Passages As Prayers for Protection Based upon Psalms 91:9-16 Holy God, I have made You my dwelling place, the Most High, who is my refuge and I trust that because of this no evil shall be allowed to befall me, no plague come near my home. For he will command his angels concerning me to guard me in all my ways. On their hands they will bear me up lest I strike my foot against a stone. I will tread on the lion and the adder; the young lion and the serpent I will trample underfoot. I rest upon your promise: “Because he holds fast to me in love, I will deliver him; I will protect him, because he knows my name. When he calls to me, I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will rescue him and honor him. With long life I will satisfy him and show him my salvation.” Amen Based upon Psalms 140:1-5 Deliver me, O Lord, from evil men; preserve me from violent men, who plan evil things in their heart and stir up wars continually. They make their tongue sharp as a serpent’s, and under their lips is the venom of asps. Selah Guard me, O Lord, from the hands of the wicked; preserve me from violent men, who have planned to trip up my feet. The arrogant have hidden a trap for me, and with cords they have spread a net; beside the way they have set snares for me. Selah Based upon Ephesians 6:13-17 Dear Lord, as I put on the full armour of God, I know that when the day of evil comes, I will be able to stand my ground, and after I have done everything, I will stand. I will stand firm, with the belt of truth buckled around my waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with my feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, I will take up the shield of faith, with which I can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. I take on the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. Read more: http://www.whatchristianswanttoknow.com/10-short-prayers-for-protection/#ixzz3bdlpTz8Y

A Powerful Prayer for God’s Protection With Commentary May 1, 2014 by Jack Wellman 0 Comments What are some of the most powerful prayers in the Bible? They are the Psalms. Here is one from Psalm 91 that is one of the most desperate cries for protection that we can pray back to God. Psalm 91 A Prayer for Protection This psalm appears to be a prayer for protection for God’s people against the terrors and the ever-present dangers that surround God’s people daily but could also apply to missionaries who are overseas and fighting against spiritual attacks from the enemies, it could be a prayer that our modern day military veteran could utter in context with the language descriptive of present day settings, it could be about a person or army that is set against insurmountable odds who is about to enter battle, or it might be someone who is undergoing several trials in their life and having spiritual and human forces pressuring them to give up in doubt and fear or maybe even someone who is battling cancer or go into surgery. Some of the terrors are ambiguous leaving room for every Christian to apply it in their everyday struggles against their three enemies; the flesh, the world, and the Enemy. The conclusion is that nothing can thwart the child or children of God collectively, even when their eyes lie to them and the situation seems exceedingly hopeless because in the improbable our God does the impossible. 1 He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty. 2 I will say to the Lord, “My refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.” The shelter of God is to be under His shadow, like Israel was in the desert wilderness of the cloud of God’s glory protecting or sheltering them from the scorching sun that would normally kill any human but He is our refuge (to run to) and our fortress (against all spiritual and human attacks) and in God we do trust because “He who dwells” with the Most High is in the most secure of all places on earth. 3 For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the deadly pestilence. 4 He will cover you with his pinions, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness is a shield and buckler. The Psalmist says here that He will “deliver” from the “snare” of the fowler or trapper. The fowler is an old English word for someone who hunts for game and setting a snare is really a trap for animals. The history of Christianity is full of people who set traps to imprison or kill them as part of the widespread persecution that has occurred for the last 2,000 years. Who is the “he” who “will deliver?” It is God Himself and He will deliver us from the traps and persecution hunters but also from pestilence, which is disease. He isn’t promising to deliver us from all persecution but He’ll cover us “with His pinions.” The pinions of an eagle, which is often the way God describes Himself, is the terminal, or end sections of the eagle’s wings but includes the full wing; the carpus, metacarpus, and the phalanges. That places the believer “under His wings” where there is refuge. God’s faithfulness is as a shield (a lifesaver in battles of the mind, flesh, and the Enemy). The “buckler” is a smaller shield that fits around an arm that is the one used for fighting, showing that while He protects us, He also fights for us. 5 You will not fear the terror of the night, nor the arrow that flies by day, 6 nor the pestilence that stalks in darkness, nor the destruction that wastes at noonday. During the nighttime is the time I must honestly admit that I have the greatest doubts…whether they be in the middle of the night or in my dreams or in a dark night of the soul. No arrow that is aimed at me, like the fiery darts of the enemy (Eph 6:16) nor any disease or pestilence that comes in the darkness and not even that which comes at noon can, in the end, sleigh me. 7 A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you. 8 You will only look with your eyes and see the recompense of the wicked. Here is descriptive language for the armies of Israel or the U.S. Military and they have no problem identifying with this language because thousands have fallen and tens of thousands on both their right side and their left, but the child of God is not kept from God even by death (Rom 8:36-39). 9 Because you have made the Lord your dwelling place— the Most High, who is my refuge— 10 no evil shall be allowed to befall you, no plague come near your tent. We have no fear of death for in even in death we’ll be present with the Lord (2 Cor 5: but those who do not have the Most High must fear both the death of the body and soul (Luke 12:5). In contrast, making the Lord our dwelling place ensures no plagues like consumed Egypt. 11 For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways. 12 On their hands they will bear you up, lest you strike your foot against a stone. Those who are God’s children have the privilege of having God’s angels given charge or orders to protect them (Luke 4:10) and will minster to those who are His saints (Heb 1:14) and if by God’s design, can save us from a deathly fall or injury. 13 You will tread on the lion and the adder; the young lion and the serpent you will trample underfoot. 14 “Because he holds fast to me in love, I will deliver him; I will protect him, because he knows my name. The number of miracles throughout Christianity’s history is remarkable in the numbers of incidents and the impossible escapes from death. I believe when we get to the Kingdom of Heaven we will be shocked at the number of times that we have escaped death or serious injury without ever knowing about it in this life. In verse 14, God is now the One Who is speaking to the psalmist and to us by extension as He says “because he (or she) holds fast to me (God) in love, I, God, will deliver him or her, and it is I, God, who will protect him or her. Why? Because he or she knows my name and remember that Jesus said that My sheep know my voice and listen to my voice (John 10:14, 27). Now, put your name in verse 14 as “Because [Sarah or Matthew] holds fast to me in love, I will deliver [Sarah or Matthew]; I will protect [Sarah or Matthew] because he/she knows my name.” Try putting a personal touch on all Scripture where it says he or she, you or they and put your own name in it. It makes Scripture come alive! 15 When he calls to me, I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will rescue him and honor him. 16 With long life I will satisfy him and show him my salvation.” The conclusion is that whenever the children of God are in desperate situations, they can call on Him and know that He “will answer” them. In their times of great trouble there will be a Great Rescuer, the Redeemer. God Himself not only rescues them but will honor them with “long life” (how about eternal life!) and then God will satisfy them and then show them His salvation. We who have been born again have seen Who His salvation is and that is Jesus Christ Himself. The next time you feel you are in an impossible situation, turn to Psalm 91 and cry out to God, He will hear and answer you, and pray this back to God.

offering of the examination of Concience Before Reconciliation
GOD , my God and Saviour, we offer You the examination which we will make, that Your divine justice may be glorified in it. We look to You with confidence for the grace to do it well. In the spirit of charity, to please You, and to accomplish Your holy will, together with every intention that can procure You the greatest honor and glory, we undertake this examination.
Prayer After Reconciliation
I give you thanks, O Lord Jesus, because you have cleansed me from my sins. I adore and praise your infinite mercy. I consecrate myself entirely to your love and service. Give me, good God, the grace to avoid sin and the occasion of sin. Mary, my Mother, bless my good resolution, and may my Guardian Angel help me to keep it. Amen.
Act of Contrition
O, my God, I am heartily sorry for having offended you. I detest all my sins because of your just punishment, but most of all because they offend you, my God, who are all-good and deserving of all my love. I firmly resolve, with the help of Your grace, to sin no more and to avoid the near occasion of sin.
Psalms:79:12: And render unto our neighbours sevenfold into their bosom their reproach, wherewith they have reproached thee, O Lord.
Prayer Against Witchcraft , very powerful prayer against Witchcraft. with fasting even more powerful. This prayer can shut down Witches and Satanists forever. Being that this prayer basically shuts down the senders of the hexes and vexes by returning their evil to them (broken)... I turned this prayer into a blessing that they would need to turn to Jesus for there own curse to be removed.. This would be saving them from HELL and being saved from HELL is a blessing.
Father, In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, I plead the precious uncorruptable blood of Jesus over myself and all the human creatures & and everything that belongs to them & me. I LOOSE giant warrior Angels to be loosed from Heaven to surround and protect everyone & me. As your war club and weapons of war I break down demolish, undamn, and blow up all walls of protection around all witches, warlocks, wizards, satanists, and the like, and I break the power of all curses, hexes, vexes, spells, charms, fetishes, physic prayers, physic thought, all witchcraft, sorcery, magic, voodoo, all mind control, jinxes, potions, bewitchments, death, destruction, sickness, pain, torment, physic power, physic warfare, prayer chains, and everything else being sent any of Your ceatures way or my way, and I return it and the demons to the senders right now, and I BIND it to them by the blood of Jesus! Father, I pray that these lost souls will find the light of Your son Jesus. Their own snares and traps have been set against themselves. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth I now loose them from all mindcontrol of Satan! Father I ask that You BIND the Holy Spirit to their hearts as a guide to Your son Jesus. So they may be set free from the bondages of Satan. In Jesus name I pray. Amen
M't:16:19: I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
all spiritual warfare is the Lord's work, and not of your own. Basically, the Lord, through your discerning and incisive Holy Spirit-led prayers, is binding them from being able to harm others. As Jesus commanded, you pray for blessings upon your enemies--that they would be set free by the blood of Jesus, that Satan's hold on them would be loosed forever. If they fail at cursing you--they fail in their own circle... and this brings them to conviction by the Holy Spirit. For one thing, Satan cannot use a person who is not adept at throwing demons and curses! He is the answerer or prayer--you do not do anything. that's how the satanists work--THEY DO IT. We do not do a thing--it is the precious blood of Jesus, the Holy Spirit, the Lord our God who does all for us. most are afflicted by this.seems I get call after call of people betrayed by those close to them. Those who think they can just sit back and not get involved in spiritual warfare against the dark side are fooling themselves. The Lord wants our house to be a house of prayer--not of complacency. We have to pray daily against the onslaught of Satan and his followers, since they are pretty much the majority of people outside the covenant of Jesus Christ.

Jesus as the Sin Bearer
sciptures for those who wish to be saved
You must see Jesus as the sin bearer: the one who took all sin and the penalty of all sin upon himself. You must see Him as the savior from the guilt of sin.
Isaiah 53 v 6: We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way; GOD has laid on him the iniquity of us all.
1 Peter 2 v 24: He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; by his wounds you have been healed.
Isaiah 53 v 12: Therefore I will give him a portion among the great, he will divide the spoils with the strong, because he poured out his life unto death, and was numbered with the transgressors. For he bore the sin of many and made intercession for the transgressors.
Hebrews 9 v 28: Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many people; he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.
1 John 2 v 2: He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, for the sins of the whole world.
1 John 3 v 5: he appeared so that he might take away our sins. in him is no sin.
Galatians 3 v 13: Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: "Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree."
1 John 4 v 10: This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.
Isaiah 53 v 5: he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed.
Hebrews 2 v 9: we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels, now crowned with glory and honor because he suffered death, so that by the grace of God he might taste death for everyone.
1 Peter 3 v 18: For Christ died for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God. He was put to death in the body but made alive by the spirit.
Ephesians 1 v 7: In Him we redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God's grace.
Romans 5 v 6- 11: at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous man, though for a good man someone might possibly dare to die. But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Since we have been justified by his blood, how much more shall we be saved from God's wrath through him! For if, when we were God's enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life! Not only is this so, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation.
Galatians 1 v 4: Who gave himself for our sins to rescue us from the present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father.
Ephesians 5 v 2: And live a life of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us and gave himself for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.
Titus 2 v 14: Jesus Christ, who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good.
1 John 3 v 16: This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers.
Revelation 1 v 5: And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler of kings of the earth. To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood.
Matthew 1 v 21: She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins.
2 Corinthians 5 v 21: God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
Ephesians 2 v 1- 9: As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins, in which you used to live when you followed the ways of the world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient. (3) All of us also lived among them at one time, gratifying the cravings of our sinful nature and following it's desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature objects of wrath. (4) But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, (5) made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions –it is by grace you have been saved. (6) And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus. ( For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith –and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God- (9) not by works, so that no one can boast.
Hebrews 2 v 14- 17: (14) Since children have flesh and blood, he too shared in their humanity so that by his death he might destroy him who holds the power of death –that is, the devil –(15) and free those who all their lives were held in slavery by their fear of death. (16) For surely it is not angels he helps, but Abraham's descendants. (17) For this reason he had to be made like his brothers in every way, in order that he might become a merciful and faithful high priest in service to God, and that he might make atonement for the sins of the people.
Everyone must die sometime. "...it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment..." Hebrews 9:27r

We have come from every nation, God knows each of us by name. Jesus took His blood and He washed our sins, And He washed them all away. Yes, there are some of us, Who have laid down our lives, But we all shall live again, On the other side.

offering of the examination of Concience Before Reconciliation GOD , my God and Saviour, we offer You the examination which we will make, that Your divine justice may be glorified in it. We look to You with confidence for the grace to do it well. In the spirit of charity, to please You, and to accomplish Your holy will, together with every intention that can procure You the greatest honor and glory, we undertake this examination. Prayer After Reconciliation I give you thanks, O Lord Jesus, because you have cleansed me from my sins. I adore and praise your infinite mercy. I consecrate myself entirely to your love and service. Give me, good God, the grace to avoid sin and the occasion of sin. Mary, my Mother, bless my good resolution, and may my Guardian Angel help me to keep it. Amen. Act of Contrition O, my God, I am heartily sorry for having offended you. Amen M't:16:19: I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. all spiritual warfare is the Lord's work, and not of your own. We have to pray daily against the onslaught of Satan and his followers, since they are pretty much the majority of people outside the covenant of Jesus Christ. http://blessinghouseministries.org/thecross/satanists.html seeking guidance I love You God and trust You to save all our human and animals sisters and brothers of the world. There is nobody else like You. We put our faith in You alone. Guide our every step. Be a lamp unto our path. Show us Your Will, Oh GOD. Impart Your ways unto all of us. We want to be faithful to You. Give us a pure heart. Take any impurities that still remain in us. GOD , we want to see Your face and know Your heart. Reveal Yourself unto us. Forgive us for taking our eyes off You. Pick us up when we fall. GOD , help us get back on track. Show us the right thing to do. In the name of Christ Jesus. Amen.

Thanksgiving Blessing
O God, We thank you for this earth, our home; for the wide sky and the blessed sun, for the ocean and streams, for the towering hills and the whispering wind, for the trees and green grass.
We thank you for our senses by which we hear the songs of birds, and see the splendor of fields of golden wheat, and taste autumn's fruit, rejoice in the feel of snow, and smell the breath of spring flowers.
Grant us a heart opened wide to all this beauty; and save us from being so blind that we pass unseeing when even the common thornbush is aflame with your glory.
For each new dawn is filled with infinite possibilities for new beginnings and new discoveries. Life is constantly changing and renewing itself. In this new day of new beginnings with God, all things are possible. We are restored and renewed in a joyous awakening to the wonder that our lives are and, yet, can be.
Amen.
(Walter Rauschenbusch)

Almighty and gracious Father, we give you thanks for the fruits of the earth in their season and for the labors of those who harvest them. Catholic Thanksgiving Prayer
Father in Heaven, Creator of all and source of all goodness and love, please look kindly upon us and receive our heartfelt gratitude in this time of giving thanks.
Thank you for all the graces and blessings. You have betowed upon us, spiritual and temporal: our faith and religious heritage. Our food and shelter, our health, the loves we have for one another, our family and friends.
Dear Father, in Your infinite generosity, please grant us continued graces and blessing throughout the coming year.
This we ask in the Name of Jesus, Your Son and our Brother. Amen.

Come, Ye Thankful People, Come
Here is a great thanksgiving hymn!
Come, ye thankful people, come, raise the song of harvest home; all is safely gathered in, ere the winter storms begin. God our Maker doth provide for our wants to be supplied; come to God's own temple, come, raise the song of harvest home.
All the world is God's own field, fruit as praise to God we yield; wheat and tares together sown are to joy or sorrow grown; first the blade and then the ear, then the full corn shall appear; Lord of harvest, grant that we wholesome grain and pure may be.
For the Lord our God shall come, and shall take the harvest home; from the field shall in that day all offenses purge away, giving angels charge at last in the fire the tares to cast; but the fruitful ears to store in the garner evermore.
Even so, Lord, quickly come, bring thy final harvest home; gather thou thy people in, free from sorrow, free from sin, there, forever purified, in thy presence to abide; come, with all thine angels, come, raise the glorious harvest home.
Lyrics by Henry Alford (1810-1871) Music by George J. Elvey (1816-1893)

Make a glad sound to the Lord, all the earth. Give worship to the Lord with joy; come before him with a song. Bible verses from the New Testament
Jesus gives thanks to God
And he directed the people to sit down on the grass. Taking the five loaves and the two fish and looking up to heaven, he gave thanks and broke the loaves. Then he gave them to the disciples, and the disciples gave them to the people. They all ate and were satisfied, and the disciples picked up twelve basketfuls of broken pieces that were left over. The number of those who ate was about five thousand men, besides women and children.
(Matthew 14:19-21, NIV)
Acts 2 and the early Christians
Notice here how the early disciples share their possessions a live with gladness in their hearts:
All the believers were together and had everything in common. They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favour of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved. (Acts 2:44-47, NIV)
St Paul's exhortation to give thanks
Rejoice always. Pray without ceasing. In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18, WEB)
FOR GOD A THANKFUL PRAYER
A THANKFUL PRAYER BECAUSE THANK YOU GOD FOR BEING ALWAYS NEXT TO US. Today is a special day. Today I feel connected to my source. Today I feel that I am a step closer to what I should and will become. No need to ask for favors, for I know everything comes when the timing is perfect. TODAY, LET US THANK GOD TOGETHER! Thank you God for giving me another day, another chance to become a better individual, another chance to give and experience love. Thank you God for giving me health, for the food you provide, for the awareness you have awaken in me...Thank you for the energy that feeds my soul, the sun that warms our bodies and the air that fills our lungs... Because of you I believe in the good without the bad and the ugly, because of you I am learning to love and accept myself, because of you I believe in believing. My source, stay connected to me today and always, for I need you in order to fullfil my spiritual tasks...God, show me how to love myself, to be able to love others. Help me become the type of person that I would like to befriend, help me forgive myself and forgive others... God, make me a channel of your energy and help me understand. I thank you God for giving me another day, another unused opportunity to do it right. Keep us all close to you and listen to our prayers.Amen.
Sometimes a really short prayer to God can make all the difference to your situation. Maybe you've just woken up and you feel really rubbish. "God as I open my eyes to the world, please open my eyes to what you want me to do in it today!" Try this as a short morning prayer and see where it leads you. • Short prayers can be useful in times of stress or crisis in the day. "Be still and know that I am God" (Psalm 46:10, WEB) - this is the other side of the conversation - God speaking to us. Try committing these words to memory and repeating them when you find yourself in the storms of life. • And at nightfall, you may only have time for a quick evening prayer before bed. Think for a moment about your day and think of one thing you would like to thank God for. For example - "Lord, thank you for my home. I am so grateful, Amen". Filling our minds with thankfulness helps to dispel fear and anxiety, and leads to much sounder sleep!

Prayers Of Thanks QUESTION: What are some prayers of thanks?
ANSWER: These prayers of thanks are based on Romans 8, Galatians 5:1, and Philippians 1:6.
Lord I come before You, desiring to provide thanks. Father, I have so much to be thankful for, things unseen and seen, that You have done in my life. Lord, mostly I am thankful for the relationship that I have with You. Lord, You initiated this relationship, by what Your Son endeavored to accomplish, paying the price for my sin, redeeming and reconciling me.
Dear Heavenly Father, You know the times I have been ungrateful, held ill thoughts toward You and my fellow humans. You know the times I complain and grumble about life and its circumstances, about suffering, going through what seem endless trials and tribulations. Even yielding my members to unholy deeds.
Yet God You are and always will be there with me, even when it seems like I am forever in the wilderness, running further and further from You, You, my God are there guiding me back to Your loving arms.
I am thankful Lord for everything that You allow to cross my path. Thankful for the decisions that You allow me to make and the lessons that come from these decisions.
I’m thankful, Lord, that I do not have to live under condemnation anymore, that You have truly set me free, that I am a new creation that I need not live under the law anymore. Thankful Lord that You have given me joy unspeakable. Thankful Lord that You are longsuffering, allowing me to mature in You!
Lord, words do not express my thankfulness. For Your mighty power is at work in me, transforming me, renewing my mind. To You Lord belong thanks eternal.
In Jesus’ name, amen.
These prayers of thanks are based on 1 Corinthians 2, Matthew 5 - 6, Hebrews 12:
Lord, there are marvelous things that I do not know, nor can I comprehend. Lord, things that happen in my life, and things that happen in my friends lives. Lord, I desire to be thankful, to appreciate everything that comes across my path. Lord, so often life hurts, I get angry -- upset, I do not understand, yet Lord You ask me to be thankful for everything, and have faith – thank You.
Lord, help me to be thankful, when the rains come on the just and the unjust, that You care so much about me, that Your to chasten, to build character and godliness in me, to be a mirrored reflection of Your Son to reach others.
Lord, I thank You for mercy, for the hunger for righteousness, for forgiveness, for purity, for providing for my needs.
Lord, I thank You for prayer, That I can come before You and call You Father. That I can cast my burdens on You. Lord, I thank You for my heart, the treasure and light You placed in there -- the Holy Spirit.
Lord, help me to endeavor, to be thankful for everything. Lord, it seems most of the time, what happens is about me. Lord, I thank you that You gently remind me that the things are not about me, however, my life and what happens is more about You, Your will, and Your Kingdom.
Lord, I thank You, I praise You. Lord, in You do I find strength and courage to go on. Lord, I thank You for the author and finisher of my faith – Jesus Christ and that in You is hope everlasting.
Lord, I thank You for the blood of Jesus, Your precious lamb. Thank You Lord God!
In Jesus’ name, amen.
"If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him." (James 1:5)
Heavenly Father, I come to You in the name of Jesus,
Your Word declares that I can come to You, the source of wisdom, for wisdom. I do that right now Father, and I ask that You would not only give me wisdom of men, but the wisdom of God. I pray that You would impart into me divine wisdom, that I may be able to rightly divide the Word of truth (2 Timothy 2:15).
I pray dear Lord that You will instruct me and teach me in the way I should go (Psalm 32:. Direct my steps, let my ear be inclined to hear Your voice, and correct me when I have gone astray.
I pray for the gift of discernment; help me to know the difference between Godly and ungodly intentions, spirits, prophecies, actions and gifts. By the power of the Holy Spirit, help me to know who has been sent by You, and who has not.
Lord God, help me to be quick to hear and listen, slow to speak (as to wait for His direction), and slow to anger. (James 1:19) Let the words of my mouth speak Your truth with wisdom, but in simplicity so that all may understand and benefit by them. Thank You Father for Your Word and for Your instruction.
In the mighty name of Jesus I pray and declare these things,
Amen.
"For the Lord gives wisdom; From His mouth come knowledge and understanding; He stores up sound wisdom for the upright; He is a shield to those who walk uprightly; He guards the paths of justice, and preserves the way of His saints. Then you will understand righteousness and justice, Equity and every good path. When wisdom enters your heart, and knowledge is pleasant to your soul, Discretion will preserve you; Understanding will keep you, To deliver you from the way of evil, From the man who speaks perverse things, From those who leave the paths of uprightness to walk in the ways of darkness;" (Proverbs 2:6-13)

I need hope for a better future. I need hope for a better life. I need hope for love and kindness. Some say that the sky is at it's darkest just before the light. I pray that this is true, for all seems dark. I need your light, Lord, in every way. I pray to be filled with your light from head to toe. To bask in your glory. To know that all is right in the world, as you have planned, and as you want it to be. Help me to walk in your light, and live my life in faith and glory. In your name I pray, Amen.

Give Me Strength, Lord
Lord, you are Holy above all others, and all of the strength that I need is in your hands.
I am not asking, Lord, that you take this trial away. Instead, I simply ask that Your will be done in my life. Whatever that means, that is what I want.
But I admit that it's hard, Lord.
Sometimes I feel like I can’t go on. The pain and the fear are too much for me, and I know that I don’t have the strength on my own to get through this.
I know that I can come to you, Jesus, and that you will hear my prayer. I know that it is not your intent to bring me to this point just to leave me in the wilderness alone.
Please, Lord, give me the strength that I need to face today. don't have to worry about tomorrow.
If you just give me the strength that I need today that is all I need.
Keep me from sinning during this trial. Instead, help me to keep my eyes on you. You are the Holy Lord, and all of my hope rests in you.
Thank you for hearing my prayer.
In Jesus' name. Amen.

. For Strength and Wisdom
Thank you, Lord, for being there for me and allowing me to cry out to you in my times of need.
It is amazing to me that the Lord of the Universe would take time to listen to me and to care about what I say.
God, there are things happening around me right now that I do not understand. Some of these things make me feel weak, helpless and afraid.
Even in the midst of this, I know that you are the Lord.
I know that the situation is in Your hand, and I trust You.
I beseech you for strength and for wisdom that I would be able to endure this situation and be able to handle it in a way that would bring glory to Your name.
In Jesus name. Amen.
Don't ever be ashamed at feeling weak. Remember what the Bible says in 2 Corinthians 12:10:
“Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.”

O God Almighty, King of kings, Lord of rulers, in whose hand all victory rests and all war is destroyed, grant me that Thy hand may strengthen my heart so I may fight well and act courageously so my enemies may fall before my sight. Traditional Catholic Prayer (These online prayers of thanksgiving are suitable for Christians of all denominations such as Methodist, Baptist, Anglican and Catholics) Come, Ye Thankful People, Come Here is a great thanksgiving hymn! Elvey (1816-1893) Contemporary hymn version of "Come, Ye Thankful People, Come" Bible verses about thanksgiving Below are featured some useful scriptures related to thanksgiving which are found in the Old and New Testaments. They may be useful as a reading before a thanksgiving prayer, or for a period of worship and praise to God. Bible verses from the Old Testament Prayer of Thanks to God This is part of a prayer when the Covenant Box had been brought into Jerusalem and placed in the tent prepared by David:- "Give thanks to the Lord, because he is good; his love is eternal". (1 Chronicles 16:34, GNT) Psalm 100 Make a glad sound to the Lord, all the earth. Give worship to the Lord with joy; come before him with a song. Be certain that the Lord is God; it is he who has made us, and we are his; we are his people, and the sheep to whom he gives food. Come into his doors with joy, and into his house with praise; give him honour, blessing his name. For the Lord is good, and his mercy is never-ending; his faith is unchanging through all generations (Psalm 100, BBE) Psalm Thanksgiving Song Oh come, let's sing to the LORD. Let's shout aloud to the rock of our salvation! Let's come before his presence with thanksgiving. Let's extol him with songs (Ps 95:1-2, NHEB) Bible verses from the New Testament Jesus gives thanks to God And he directed the people to sit down on the grass. (Matthew 14:19-21, NIV) Acts 2 and the early Christians Notice here how the early disciples share their possessions a live with gladness in their hearts:- All the believers were together and had everything in common. They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favour of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved. (Acts 2:44-47, NIV) St Paul's exhortation to give thanks Rejoice always. Pray without ceasing. | judgement belongs to YOU
Dear God our Eternal Father, a great hostility is rising all over the world against Your gospel and against your Church. Despite a decade of high-powered, economically-driven political advocacy for religious freedom, persecution of Christians is increasing in frequency, scope and intensity. Furthermore, because of geopolitical and economic changes, we are finding ourselves increasingly helpless (in earthly terms) to prevent it or even just escape it. Hardship, suffering, vulnerability and despair are spreading. Father, we ask You to fill us with the knowledge of Your will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so that amidst whatever this world and the prince of this world might throw at us, we may walk in a manner worthy of Christ, fully pleasing to You, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in Your knowledge God. May those who are suffering and facing trials, hardships and even genocidal violence on account of Jesus Christ and His gospel be strengthened with all power, according to His glorious might, for all endurance and patience with joy. May the Spirit fill them with assurance of their salvation and an anticipation of their great inheritance in the Kingdom of Your Son.May the Holy Spirit lift their heads, restore their souls and draw them into prayer. May YOU Father answer their prayers, deliver them from evil and increase their faith. Father, by Your mighty power and in Your amazing gracious love and mercy, purge us of all worldliness, idolatry, faithlessness and unfaithfulness, that we might be the beautiful bride You so desire. Open our eyes and ears and soften our hearts to Your will. Fill us with brotherly love for all our brethrens and of mercy towards Your animals in order for us to see them as who they are, Your children and not despicable nothings , slaves we can use as we wish. Sanctify us.Refine us in these dark days and strengthen us for the darker days that lie ahead. May the devil have no victory over us. May Your glory GOD be revealed in all the earth. in the name of Yeshua. AMEN.

Many consider it to be the lucky planet. Yet poverty, homelessness and relationships breakdown is rising. It is getting harder to succeed .The penalty for failure is high. Violence, non men animal abuse, domestic violence, abuse, drug addiction, alcoholism, mental illness, suicide , divorce are in epidemic proportions . Roles of men and women are changing. Feminism has blossomed. Women want it both ways. Men don't know where they stand. Homosexuality is rife. Law and order is breaking down. War and terrorism surround us. prayer before Reconciliation
Come GOD into my soul. Enlighten all humans mind that we may know the sins we ought to confess, and grant us your grace to confess them fully, humbly and with a contrite heart. Help us to fimly resolve not to commit them again. O YAHWEH mirror of innocence and sanctity, and refuge of penitent sinners, ask Jesus to intercede for us through His Passion, that we may obtain the grace to make a good confession. GOD ask Jesus to pray for all animals and humans of earth, most miserable human sinners, that we may repent from our evil ways, that our hearts may henceforth be forever united with Yours in eternal love. Amen.
prayer before reconciliation
Supreme and adorable majesty, God of heaven and earth, I firmly believe You are ever present, and that You see me and know the disposition of my heart. I adore You, and render to You my humble homage, acknowledging You for my God, my Creator, my Sovereign Redeemer. In testimony of this, my faith, I prostrate soul and body before the throne of Your infinite majesty, and offer You the adoration which is due to You alone. O Father of light, who enlightens everyone who comes into the world, send into my heart a ray of light, of love, of sorrow, that I may know, detest, confess the sins I have committed against You. I wish to see my sins in all their enormity, just as they are in Your sight. I wish to detest them for my love of You, and to confess them with the same sincerity now that I would give at the moment of death. I know, my God, that this knowledge of my sins, the sorrow for them, the sincerity in declaring them to your minister can come only from Your bounty. As You wish that the sinner should not die, You sent Your Son into the world to purchase his forgiveness, I implore this grace through the merits of Jesus Christ, who died upon the cross of my sins, and who is now sitting at Your right hand, where He continually shows You, in my behalf, the wounds He endured for me.
GOD ask Jesus, who is so charitable to sinners that desire to repent, to assist us by his intercession.
My holy GOD who have been a spectator to all our crimes, help us discover the sins which we have committed against You.
GOD ask our blessed Jesus to pray for us that we may bring forth fruits of penance. Amen.

strength to forgive others
Holy YAHWEH, with Your forgiveness I am whole again. I praise Your Name! Amen. With Your forgiveness I am whole again. I praise Your Name! Amen. I can’t seem to shake the harm that’s been done to me off my shoulders. I am wallowing in the anger I feel. YAHWEH, I shouldn’t think the vengeful thoughts that I have. You have called me to forgive every single person that wrongs me. I need Your strength to overcome these trespasses against me. Father, I want to forgive these people. Please cast the devil’s evil ways from me. I want to look at these people and see lost souls that need You. I want to forgive them completely so that You can use me however You wish, to be Jesus to them. Father, I am done with holding these grudges! Forgive me for holding on to them. I cast this burden at Your throne now.Do with me as YOU please Father. I love You and thank YOU for Your patience with me. In the name of Jesus. Amen.

| prayer for forgiveness and repentance
Why YAHWEH? Beautiful YAHWEH, why do You forgive us? We shout praises to You when we sing worship. With the same tongue we curse other people that are made in Your image. (James 3:9 reference) Why do You forgive us? We say we love You and still keep sinning. Why do You forgive us? We spend time in prayer thanking You for Your blessings and then we refuse to bless others. Why do You forgive us? We read our Bibles when we make time for it, but we also read other nonsense that is offensive to You. Why do You forgive us? We praise Jesus for His death on the cross for the atonement of our sins and then we nail Him to it again every time we trespass against You. Why do You forgive us every single time? I am so thankful for Your endless supply of forgiveness! I can’t fathom how You do it, for I am only one man. You do this for every single person! The compassion and grace and mercy that flow from You is absolutely amazing and I love You for it! Thank YOU so much for forgiving me every time I sin! You are worthy to be praised! Amen.

| Prayer for forgiveness and repentance
Repentance From Unbelievers
Father in heaven,
My heart grieves for those close to me that do not want to know You. They are lost souls wandering wherever the devil takes them. They are fulfilling their own desires of the flesh instead of yearning for the life that You give. Father, use me or anyone that You please to show Christ-like love to them. Father, I love these men and women and to think of them in eternal torment is tormenting me! I pray that the seeds that are planted in them Lord will be grown by You. You make miracles happen every day and I pray that You make one today in the lives of the lost. I praise Your Holy Name! Amen

| 23rd Psalm for Recovering Alcoholics Author Unknown The Lord is my sponsor, I shall not want. He makes me to go to many meetings. He leads me to sit back, relax, and listen with an open mind, He restores my soul, my sanity, and my health. He leads me in the path of sobriety, serenity, and fellowship for my own sake. He teaches me to think, to take it easy, to live and let live, and do first things first. He makes me more humble and grateful. He teaches me to accept the things I cannot change, to change the things I can, and gives me the wisdom to know the difference. Yea, though I walk through the valley of despair, frustration, guilt, and remorse, I will fear no evil. For Thou are with me, your program, your way of life, your twelve steps, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies: rationalization, fear, anxiety, self-pity, resentment. You anoint my confused mind and jangled nerves with knowledge, understanding, and hope. No longer am I alone, neither am I afraid, nor sickened, nor helpless, nor hopeless. My cups runs over, Surely sobriety and serenity shall follow me every day of my life, one day at a time, twenty-four hours at a time. As I surrender my will to You and carry Your message to others, I will dwell in the house of Higher Power, as I understand him, one day at a time, forever and ever. Amen
Prayer for the New Year Edgar A. Guest Grant me the strength from day to day To bear what burdens come my way. Grant me throughout this bright New Year More to endure and less to fear. Help me live that I may be From spite and petty malice free.
Let me not bitterly complain When cherished hopes of mine prove vain, Or spoil with deeds of hate and rage Some fair tomorrow's spotless page. Lord, as the days shall come and go In courage let me stronger grow.
...
Lord, as the New Year dawns today Help me to put my faults away. Let me be big in little things; Grant me the joy which friendship brings. Keep me from selfishness and spite; Let me be wise in what is right.
A happy New Year! Grant that I May bring no tear to any eye. When this New Year in time shall end Let it be said I've played the friend, Have lived and loved and labored here, And made of it a happy year.
Prayer of Hope
O Lord YAH, in Whom is our hope, remove far from us, we pray Thee, empty hopes and presumptuous confidence. Make our hearts so right with Thy most holy and loving heart, that hoping in Thee we may do good; until that day when faith and hope shall be abolished by sight and possession, and love shall be all in all. In Your Son YEHUSHUA's name. Amen.
Forgiveness For Children
Abba, Just as Job continually offered burnt offerings to you for the forgiveness of his children, (Job 1:5) I am praying for the forgiveness of mine. Lord GOD, only You know what they have done. If they have sinned against You I pray that You would forgive them. I pray that they would seek repentance to make things right with You. Lord, if there is any sin that needs to be forgiven, I pray that You would soften their hearts and bring them safely into Your arms of grace and mercy. I thank you for Your unlimited love for us! Amen.

prayer for young people
God our Father, You see Your children growing up in an unsteady and confusing world: Show them that your ways give more life than the ways of the world, and that following you is better than chasing after selfish goals. Help them to take failure, not as a measure of their worth, but as a chance for a new start. Give them strength to hold their faith in you, and to keep alive their joy in your creation; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
Prayer for Those Who Have Committed Suicide
Bless, O God of eternal life, all who have died by their own hand. Grant them peace from their inner turmoil and the compassion of your love. Comfort those who mourn their loved ones. Strengthen them to face the questions of pain, the guilt and anger, the irreparable loss. Help us to reach out in love to others who prefer death to the choices of life and to their families who grieve. In the name of YEHUSHUA. Amen.

To manage Time well
Father, I'm praying for our neigbhors (name one or more) to be good managers of time. Help them learn from Mary and Martha that busyness can keep them from sitting at the feet of Jesus where they'll receive His teaching and enjoy His friendship. May they find the one thing that Jesus said is needed—unhurried time at His feet. Protect them from the busyness of Martha; may their lives not be driven by the urgent but by the important—and help them know the difference. May they remember that Mary chose to sit at Jesus' feet. (Luke 10:38–42) May they make that choice, too, learning to be still before You—to cease striving, to let be, to know that You are God. Otherwise, they may find themselves working and serving in their own strength instead of Yours, feeling weary and weighed down. (Psalm 46:10a; Philippians 4:13; Matthew 11:28) Help them not to try stretching their days, rising early and staying up late to do the things they feel they need to do— for You grant sleep to those You love. (Psalm 127:2) May they pause throughout the day, asking You to order their steps, being confident that You will. In YESHUA's name, amen.

Prayer for forgiveness and repentance
Our Leaders
Omnipotent Abba, You are all-powerful! Even Your thoughts produce action. I pray for our leaders in the government. Lord, they also have power, though it is limited. I pray that they would use their positions wisely, for You GOD are the One who has allowed them to lead us. We need strong men and women of faith in these kinds of roles. I pray that our men and women in authority will strive to live godly lives and to repent when necessary. As in Animal Farm, “Absolute power corrupts absolutely.” If there is any corruption, I pray that our leaders would repent and ask for forgiveness, so that our country doesn’t fall apart. I thank You GOD for our leaders and pray for their safety. I love You Father! Amen.
A Prayer for Hope for the Hopeless
I pray that God, the source of HOPE, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in him. Then you will overflow with confident HOPE through the power of the Holy Spirit. (Romans 15:13) On any given day one out of ten people are experiencing depression at some level. The Bible offers hope. This hope yields real peace and joy that nothing else can offer. Has joy and confidence eluded you? What are your expectations in the future? You can have hope if you put your trust in God the Father through His Son Jesus who is the only source of the true hope for which we all hunger. I (Jill) battled depression for many years, and even though I knew Jesus as Savior, I hadn’t received the blessing of hope that He had to offer me. After I made Him Lord and aligned myself with His truth, depression left and the joy journey began. The circumstances didn’t change immediately, but how I viewed those circumstances did change. HOPE is yours, my friend, if you take Jesus up on His offer to give it to you. Father, According to your Word, I find HOPE in relationship with you. As I put my HOPE and trust in you, Your Word promises that I will be filled completely with joy and peace. In fact, I will be so filled with these virtues that I will overflow with them. This HOPE will not be an empty wish but a HOPE that has substance and great confidence through the power of Your Holy Spirit that lives in those who believe. This world and all it contains cannot offer me HOPE. Only with the reality of you living in me, can I have HOPE. I receive your Holy Spirit anew today. I align my heart with the truth that Jesus taught, and I receive HOPE from you, my Father. Fill me to the full with HOPE today and allow me to be an encouragement to those around me who are hopeless. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

| Our Pastors
Dear Lord,
I pray for pastors around the world. If there is any un-confessed sin active in their lives, I pray that You would bring them to the deepest valleys if that is what it takes to get them back on the narrow path. We need strong pastors leading our congregations. I pray that You would use the people closest to their pastors to keep them accountable, Lord. Accountability is a must in every Christian’s life. I thank You for our pastors, Lord, for they have a huge role to play here on earth. They have many big responsibilities and I am so grateful that they accept the challenges of pastoring. I love You, Lord! Amen.
Conclusion
Forgiveness is absolutely necessary in a Christian’s walk with the Lord. “Forgive us our sins, for we ourselves forgive everyone who is indebted to us.” (Luke 11:4) God bless you as you live a life worthy of the calling!

| Prayer for the Forgiveness of Sins
O Lord, GOD , Redeemer and Saviour, forgive my sins, just as You forgave Peter's denial and those who crucified Your Son Jesus . Count not my transgressions, but, rather, my tears of repentance. Remember not my iniquities, but, more especially, my sorrow for the offenses I have committed against You. I long to be true to Your Word, and pray that You will love me and come to make Your dwelling place within me. I promise to give You praise and glory in love and in service all the days of my life.In Jesus Christ's name.Amen.
A prayer for the joy of forgiveness
Heavenly Father, through the obedience of Jesus, Who offered His Life in the service of all, help me with Your Kindness. Make me strong through the Eucharist. May I put into action the saving Mystery I celebrate in the Mass. Protect me with Your Love and prepare me for eternal happiness.
