Contre les abandons, passez a l'action

Chaque été, la SPA se mobilise pour lutter contre l'abandon qui connaît hélas une forte recrudescence durant les vacances.

Cette année, nous vous invitons à participer à notre grande opération :
« Prenez l'été dans le sens du poil, dites non à l'abandon ! »

De quoi s'agit-il ?
De personnaliser une de nos cartes avec une photo de vous, de vos enfants ou de vos proches et de la diffuser le plus largement possible via les réseaux sociaux pour mobiliser toujours plus de gens autour de vous.

Pourquoi est-ce important pour nos fidèles compagnons ?
En publiant ces cartes, vous prouvez non seulement votre attachement à la cause animale en clamant haut et fort "Non à l'abandon", mais vous démontrez en plus avec humour que partir en vacances avec son animal de compagnie, c'est possible !

Ludique, sympathique et gratuit, ce geste permettra à d'autres personnes de prendre conscience de la menace qui pèse sur des milliers d'animaux durant les vacances !

Grâce à vous, nous allons pouvoir lutter contre ce véritable trafic que représente la vente d'animaux par petites annonces par des particuliers.

Mais avant que notre démarche aboutisse, de nombreux chiens et chats achetés par ce biais, et présentant des troubles du comportement suite à leurs épouvantables conditions d'élevages, seront abandonnés sans scrupules par leurs propriétaires.

Nos équipes devront alors déployer des moyens considérables pour secourir ces petits êtres vivants doublement traumatisés.

HELP STOP MASS KILLINGS OF DOGS

Dogs shot, poisoned, and burned alive

Did you know that in Ukraine, dogs are being shot or poisoned and left to endure agonizing deaths? Watch the new PETA video to see the shocking animal abuse that the Ukrainian government is trying to hide from the rest of the world.

The 2012 European Football Championship will begin next month, and host countries Poland and Ukraine are busily preparing for the games. In Ukraine, this preparation includes a barbaric attempt to purge the streets of homeless animals in order to keep the misery of abandoned and neglected dogs out of the public eye.

While the clearest solution to animal overpopulation is to promote spay-and-neuter initiatives, homeless animals in Ukraine are being caught and then shot or poisoned and thrown into mass graves or crematoriums to be burned.

Will you take a stand for these animals by signing the petition to the Ukrainian Embassy right now?

The homeless dogs who are being killed in Ukraine are no different from the faithful canine friends in many of our homes and have the same capacity for love, fear, and pain. Even the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA), the organization behind the championship, has criticized Ukrainian authorities for the massacre. UEFA also offered financial support to animal protection advocates for humane spay-and-neuter initiatives in the country after being contacted by PETA Germany. Yet the Ukrainian government has done little to end the mass extermination. We can't let this massacre continue.

Accueillir dignement les animaux sans famille à Noël

Beaucoup de chiens et de chats qui passeront les fêtes en refuge sont victimes d'une injustice qui me révolte : leur taille, leur âge, leur handicap, ou leur maladie fait que peu de personnes s'intéressent à eux, alors même qu'ils ne demandent qu'à aimer et à être aimés…

Résultat : la durée moyenne du séjour dans nos refuges ne cesse de s'allonger !

Comme ils restent plus longtemps avec nous, il nous faut davantage de moyens pour les soigner, les nourrir et leur donner toutes les chances d'être enfin adoptés !

Pour cela, nous avons absolument besoin de votre aide :



Alors que Noël approche, c'est un véritable appel au secours que je vous adresse : ensemble, offrons à ces oubliés de la vie la chaleur et l'attention qu'ils méritent !

Au nom de tous ces pauvres vieux matous et de ces bons toutous qui passeront grâce à votre soutien l'hiver dans nos refuges, je vous remercie d'avance pour votre don.
